Jalpari of Woodley in Wokingham

Popped in on Saturday for our yearly visit and was a little dissapointed, it seemed off from our previous visits, coke was flat even after changing and little changes on the menu seemed strange, I had the tandoori mixed grill and in place of the standard salad on the side they served a weird blueberry sauce/slaw which was not pleasant and had no place on the plate, the staff were nice although the waiter wouldn't talk to my wife and addressed everything to me 😥.Unfortunately I think this will be my last visit but I still gave it a 3* because the place has merits but just sadly lacked them Saturday

Disappointing. Despite all the hype and suspiciously positive reviews this place was not great. We went on a Sunday lunchtime, expecting a buffet, instead we were greeted by a pokey, tiny hole of a place with just a few tables and a 'eat as much as you like menu'. Not great, unless you can spare three hours! Service was slow throughout and the food quality mediocre - curry was a few tiny bits of meat swimming in a watery sauce. The naan was good, as were the poppadums and chutney, but everything else very disappointing. Not recommended.

Excellent food and service currys are cooked spot on.

First visit to their Sunday Buffet which was good. Service was friendly and efficient, no waiting and helpful. Good choice of dishes which were well presented, hot and very tasty. £ wise @ £13.95 represents really good value. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made Nan bread, best I’ve eaten.

Amazing food, nice atmosphere, will definitely be visiting again

The Jalpari restaurant provides excellent food and a great service...I have been going here for many years, and the standard, excellence and choice of dishes, for me, is the best in the area. I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't yet tried..you will not be disappointed
