went to jolly farmer this evening and looking at their new food menu and I spotted beer battered cod and chips most probably one of the best fish I ever had, I would rate this if if I could 20 out of 10very substantial freshly cooked dinnerI'm looking forward to try some of the other dishes in the next few daysfantastic friendly atmosphere, a lot better than the last time I visited this pub.Shaun

Early days; but promising. The Timothy Taylor ale was excellent. The landlord is friendly to morris dancers who will refresh themselves and entertain guests at the newly re-opened pub.

A nice cosy pub located in the country side just outside of Reading. The place is charming and warm, manned by friendly staff. Some of my friends are quite regular here and I had heard a lot about this place. After having been there now, I can understand why they love this place. There's adequate sitting space and a garden in the back. Ample parking space too. Will definitely want to go back.Would have been a 5 star review if the beer selection was a little better...

Came here after hiring a pedalo at Dinton pastures. Very helpful considerate staff. Food was lovely traditional pub grub. Lovely to be out again.

What a little gem. Nice little pub with log fire & a lovely spacious pub garden and patio area.It's lovely when you go out to dine or just have a drink somewhere & the manager/staff make your experience special. Lovely staff & the manager is diamond. Can't wait for lockdown to be over & this place is fully running.Thank you guys for making our day. We'll be back for sure.

Unlikely name for a superb Indian meal but you would be missing out not to give this a try. We loved it and we eat a lot of Indian food. The meal was cooked fresh and not made from a precooked base like so many Indian restaurants do. The chefs’ signature lamb dish was off the charts. Very reasonable too. Even though it is out of our way we would visit again.
