Visited on Sunday eve , there seemed to be a staff shortage. One younger man running around the restaurant trying to look after us and everyone else and another older man playing in his phone and not looking bothered about what’s going on. The young guy was great and chatty and kind to us by letting us know of weekly deals and giving us the knowledge of a return visit with a discount on the bill given to us. The seafood was lovely, a shame there wasn’t any mussels as told we’re out of season nor any oysters in but we had plenty to choose from otherwise.

No oysters. Run out of lemons. Additional vegetables on plate not chosen and not wanted and not particularly hot anyway. Plaice was good. Mixed seafood fine but changes to menu as some items were not available.

Perfect for a mid week lunch with friends or family. No need to book as plenty of space. Lovely, clean and tidy with pretty decor. I went with my two sisters, had oysters to start and my sisters had fried halloumi. All delicious, the oysters are amazing so incredibly fresh, tbh I could eat just those all day long. The halloumi was good too. The king prawns were excellent, a little messy but if you are happy to get stuck in no problem! Fish pie fab, according to my sister, and if you’re all in I would suggest the sticky toffee pudding. Heaven on a plate. They quite often have deals on too, worth checking before you go, but I would highly recommend. Great service too.

We used to love Loch Fyne in Cobham but have not found a restaurant to match it. We intended to go to Ascot who were not serving hot food due to a faulty extractor fan so they recommended Wokingham. It was not a friendly greeting and when we asked for a table in a quieter area we were made to feel awkward. The food was not great, I wanted to complain however my daughter dislikes confrontation and as it was her treat I did not want to further spoil it.The Tortellini was swimming in butter the texture was like babies food. The hamburgers dry but the fish and chips whilst good were not worth the money. Overall a disappointing experience not to be repeated. It is a shame as this is the first time we have been to a Loch Fyne since before the pandemic. To put £8.02 on the bill for service when we were barely there an hour and the service not great was disgusting. I am not tipped for doing my job if Loch Fyne can’t pay a decent salary to their employees why should I subsidise it. I am happy to tip at my discretion not yours!

More than a seafood restaurant, with steak, burgers and some vegetarian dishes, and excellent for seafood. Where else can you get fresh oysters, scallops, lobster and more with well chosen sauces . Also a good bar with outdoor seating and heating for summer evenings, for nibbles and a drink. Plenty of free parking, with disabled access.

Hit-and-miss... I've had a few great meals here and a few very blah meals. Got a strong sense of "cost-cutting" or "quality fade": things like complimentary bread disappearing, and so on. I also had a salad once that was pretty much undressed iceberg, very boring and tasteless. On the other hand, the fish (wot brought you here) is excellent. Service generally impeccable, but I recall on one occasion they had some Portuguese exchange student who was outrageously rude, lol.

Service was terrible. We had booked to the Ascot branch, but there was a problem with the kitchens. They told us to go to the restaurant above and said they would know we were coming. Got there the lady in charge was rude in her manner and asked if we had a booking. Considering there were only two other tables ,we thought it was a trick question. We got seated but had to wait 45 minutes before we could even get someone to serve us. When the food did arrive it was not nice at all, and we asked for the bill and left with half eaten dishes. Shame because we really do enjoy Loch Fyne service and meals, normally.

Lobster is very nice. But Oyster is a little bit not fresh. Chicken mango salad is quite small portion. But flavor is very nice, comes with smoky tast.
