Great, friendly service. Excellent selection of beers, gin and whisky and the food was pretty good too!

Terrible Christmas Dinner. The food was very minimal and cold as well as under cooked although the salt and pepper pots were nice. Also there was a dog running around in the restaurant area which isn't very hygienic.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here just after it opened around noon. Lovely atmosphere, and great price.

Nice bar. Lovely hidden gem in the University grounds. Prices very reasonable and outside tables were lovely on the sunny day we had. Inside looked OK but maybe not 5*.

A beautiful place in Reading Uni grounds with a lovely outdoor space with benches. BUT ruined by zero atmosphere, rude, weird and unfriendly PHD students, miserable people who turn up and miserable people serving. It is not a prison camp in Kabul so i have no idea why you'd not be happy and friendly.it really is not hard. Smile, laugh, create a buzz. I don't know why so many of these places are full of people with sour faces like they've sucked on a mouldy grape. Servers are no better and set the tone. Get some buzz going!! COME ON!!

Benches outside have taken over the car park. Well spaced out and some have umbrellas. Ordering is via a website and seems to be efficient. Beers and lagers on tap are now from local breweries. Great to try new things. Food always looks nice but haven't eaten there recently.

Nice place, although only drank outside under current rules, so can't give it full marks until I get inside. Friendly staff, quick service and lovely setting. Kids can safely play in the uni grounds within eyesite, so a relaxed experience.

Delicious food and nice place on campus with great selection of beers and ales. Lost a star as they don't sell proper coke. They only sell this sugar free rubbish.

Great ales and service. The lady serving us even brought our dog some water. Lovey location but they've made no effort with the flower beds next to the pub - weeds when it could be beautiful.

Really nice atmosphere, good food and drinks, and good prices. We went in a group and got served pretty promptly. Try the the lentil and avocado burger. The fries did not seem to be freshly made, more like something fried after rescue from a freezer, but they tasted great nonetheless.
