The Grange Chocolate Cafe in Wokingham

Nice setting with seating inside and out. All well maintained with a rustic feel.Wide selection of cakes to go with coffee and tea.Last visit was with cycling group of 12. Orders were handled quickly and efficiently with friendly service from the counter and by waiting staff.

Ordered 2 ice creams and a caramel latte. ice creams were served instantly and tasted great but waited 10 minutes for the latte to find out the never made it or was going tooThey told me they will make it and then brought it out after another 5 minutes without any apologiesDisappointed with the service and expected better

Place was dirty, 3 staff milling about and not serving customers, all with pretty poor attitudes. Extortionate prices for poor quality food. Paid £8(!)for a panini that was undercooked and underwhelming. Sandwiches were £6 and tasted delicious and the portion size was great. Wouldn't recommend going here again, support another local business!

Definitely worth a trip. Lovely food and plenty of staff to cover how busy it is.

The Chocolate Cafe has fabulous hot drinks. Breakfast and lunch food. The food is really yummy ,lots of different options .the people who work there will go out of their way for the smallest of things.they make you feel well cared for. Indoor and outdoor seating. Be ready to tip the wait staff they deserve it.

Dear The Grange Chocolate Cafe, thank you so much for having us for our son's 7th birthday party. I would like to say a special thank you to all the staff for being so accomodating, when we had to re_schedule our party. Everything was well organised and cared, highly recommend!

Ordered a vegan chocolate cake for my event and was presented with the most delightful tray of sweet little chocolate mini cakes individually iced and topped with a blueberry. They were delicious and not too sweet. Thank you so much.The cakes here are divine!

Don't bother. They gave our order to someone else and turns out was the last piece of cake, then sold us what they call a freakshake which costs 5 pounds and it came in what I can only compare to a small Costa coffee cup. Don't waste your money. Service was shocking even though they had plenty of staff, like the blind leading the blind. Tables were all filthy outside so we had to sit inside. I am not sure what else to say, completely awful experience. Dummy next to "freakshake" lol for perspective.

Lovely location and food and drink, but management have left the poor waiters and waitresses under staffed and over worked. Getting clean table and food/drink orders in timely manner is matter of luck. When I went to pay at counter, there was a man ignoring me, elbows on counter browsing his phone behind the ice cream deli. A waitress could see I was waiting and rushed over to settle my bill, I could see the young waiters and waitresses were all stressed having to clean tables and take and delivery orders with no leadership visible. Hope this is resolved, not fair on employees and amazing location.

Sorry to say we won't be visiting again. A gorgeous Sunday morning should be filled with gorgeous cakes and hot coffee! But our experience was lacking. Cold lattes and old and dry coffee cake which should not have have been sold to the public. Such a shame we really wanted to like this place.
