"The name "Mita" translates quite literally as "the restaurant" and has been a reliable friend to all Indian food loving people of the county of Berkshire since it was established in 1995. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian cuisine, the menu incorporates a wide range of authentic and innovative dishes. Acclaimed favourites include widely popular Chicken Tikka Massala, Lamb Rogan Josh and one of the Mita's very own inventions - the Hundee dishes. Located in a small town outside Reading called Twyford, the Restaurant is just 20 minute drive from the Reading town centre and within a few minutes of walking distance from the Twyford Rail station."

Just had my second lot of food from Mitas. We collected a takeaway just over a month ago and thought it was very good, staff were friendly and food was hot and ready to collect at the time given to us. Ordered for delivery tonight again delicious food, delivery driver very courteous and delivery time was quick too. Will use again and again in future!

Very nice food at very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with staff that are not watching your every movement, and it's a nice bonus that you can take your own drink with you. A very good evening out.

Been going to Mita's for nearly twenty odd years. My fave curry place. The owners and staff are excellent and very friendly. How about this ... over the years I used to drop in at least once a week and have a lamb madras, but bit by bit I would ask for a tweak here and there (bit of fruit, more chilli, lets try some honey etc etc). Eventually they would see me come in call to the chef "Ramsay Special". So now, the Ramsay Special is on the actual menu :D I would recommend you try it.
