The Queen's Oak in Wokingham

Beautiful country pub, situated in a quiet village. The decor is lush and sets the mood for whatever time of day you visit. Staff were incredibly friendly! We only stayed for drinks but the food menu looked exquisite! Not much for Vegans though unfortunately...but it is a country pub afterall!

Excellent Sunday lunch with very generous portions! Happily and helpfully offered a large range of gluten free options. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Brilliant place to stop off on a walk, looking forward to our next visit.

My first visit and defiantly not my last! Staff were very friendly and the food was 5*, service was excellent, I just can’t fault it at all.... highly recommend

I don’t tend to write reviews that often but I do when I feel they are justified. We ate here for the 2nd time today and on both occasions the food and service has been excellent. First time round was in their beer garden in the summer months and it was a great way to spend an evening in the sunshine. Today we had Sunday lunch inside with friends. Great atmosphere and they even had the fire going….ahh, perfect. The lunch was superb. My daughter took a liking to the Oreo biscuits on the top of my cheesecake. The gentleman serving us must have noticed and next minute brought over a little pot of the biscuits for her as a treat. Now it’s little things like this that make all the difference. Job well done. Recommend to anybody.

Excellent food and a good choice of beers. Very attentive and friendly staff. Will happily return.

What a lovely place! With its large beer garden and great food, the perfect place to relax with friends. I can highly recommend the calves liver & bacon.

Was a nice peaceful venue, apparently as the rugby was on. Worked for me though. Friendly staff, nice clean pub. Food was good, would recommend to others. Good for groups. Plenty of parking too. That is all I can think of for now......

Great food, shame about the bathroom hygiene. Well we had a wonderful meal for Mother's day. The Fish & Chips was superb. Unfortunately, the toilet was truly disgusting.Fix that bathroom please!
