The Walter Arms in Wokingham

Very good evening, lovely food, lovely service. We cannot remember the young lads' name who served us, but he was a very polite and attentive server, deserving of individual praise. Would highly recommend. Dogs allowed too.

Good reasonably priced beer. Friendly atmosphere. We called in just before early meals were being served at six in the evening. It is obviously popular.

Really nice pub worth travelling to. It's nice and quiet and has a great selection of beers and other drinks.

Enjoyed a lovely Christmas Eve dinner here! The staff are lovely and food delicious, bonus points for having quick service even though we were there alongside a party of 15. Will definitely be back!

Staff & atmosphere are great and cannot be faulted. Unfortunately, the food let this pub down. With having elderly family with we had to leave pretty quickly due to health reasons and upon reaching out via the feedback request form about the disappointing meal I have received no response. I tried getting in contact twice and have left it until now to leave a review in the hope I would have been contacted. Really disappointing as this would have been my new local.

Private party at the Walter Arms. Very nice area, very helpful staff. Good choices of food and plenty of it. Open bar and I was driving!

Nice atmosphere and good food, however the coronation slaw was missing from the katsu burger and mixed berry compote was missing from the cheesecake. Also slightly more expensive than you would expect pub food to be (£15 for a burger). Service was ok, but there was a private event going on so they seemed very rushed and orders were going to the wrong tables. Were served by a couple of people but Matthew (I think was his name as it was on the bill) was very good.

Lovely reception for my mum’s wedding! We had our own little space and the place was laid out beautifully. Great food too. Thank you so much to all the staff who helped make this day special.

Good food and service. Has a big outdoor space on non-raining days that is worth visiting.

Found this on a local cycle ride.Lovely pub with an excellent outside area. Perfect for summer.Nice range of beers on tap.Excellent food.Wife went for Katsu burger, which was stunningly good and I went for the old faithful fish and chips. Really good.Very impressed and will definitely return again.
