Waggon and Horses in Wokingham

Took my mother and bother to this pub for a mother's day meal, booked in advance for 1pm Sunday the 27th March 2022.On arrival we made our selves known to the staff, we were then told that the only table for us was on the patio area outside which we said we are not happy about as it was cold out, the manager seemed uninterested and made no attempt to offer an alternative so on that note we left very unhappy with the pub and manager.Will not be going in there again

Nice and friendly staff which only added to the excellent food served.

Love this place. Always my go to as first pub in Twyford. And the garden is massive. Summer time drinking at its best.

Used to be a great place to go for blues/pub rock on the last Sunday of the month. Sadly Landlord has cancelled it. Still a beautiful old pub and food is good but wish they still hosted the music sessions.

Best option for a well kept pint in Twyford! Nice kid friendly garden as well with an aviary.

This is one of the finest pub/restaurants I have ever been in, the food and drink are beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef and all the staff.I would definitely recommend this premises for all .They have an amazing garden and the interior is beautiful.It is advisable to reserve.We have once again had a fantastic time at the Waggon and Horses.Richard, Lisa, Stuart and their team are truly a credit to the catering industry.Always a warm welcome, excellent service, wonderful beverages, fantastic food and very reasonably priced.Well done all keep up the good work.

Lovely beer garden accessible from the car park with table service. Good beer and not crowded. Will definitely stop by again. I want to see if the food is as good!

Richard, the landlord of the Waggon and Horses, was kind enough to allow us to have our wedding reception at the pub. The Waggon and Horses team played a huge part in making our day a success. They provided a top notch service, the venue itself was perfect, the food and drink was fantastic and everybody had a brilliant day. Richard, Stuart and all of the staff always extend a warm welcome to anybody that pops in and we would happily recommend the Waggon & Horses to anybody, whether that be just for a drink, a pizza, or Sunday BBQ/roast. We will certainly be heading back soon!
