White Horse in Wokingham

We held my Mum's wake here (very local to Easthampstead Crematorium). The venue was lovely. The team were absolutely amazing during the preparation and surpassed themselves during the wake itself. Everyone was so kind. Super reasonable prices with a wonderful array of dishes. I would recommend for any event. I would also love to go back just for a meal.Wonderful team and gorgeous venue.Thank you .

Really lovely pub, extremely friendly staff, they even reopened the kitchens so that we could have lunch (even though we had arrived just after the kitchens had closed). The food was superb too 😋 We would definitely come back again. Outstanding customer service!

We had a after the funeral get together though disappointed with turnout (not venue issues ours family ) food venue was out standing.Drinks good value.Buffet out standing value for money brilliant standard excellent amount excellent l.Venue excellent our own bot and what a bit excellent.Service and customer care excellent.Attention to our needs and time excellent.Would I recommend yes definitely.

Lovely Sunday roast with family, great ambience, recommended!

This pub was a real find. We were looking for a place to have dinner after a day out and nothing was too much trouble at the White Horse. The Landlord and Chef even opened the kitchen early for us to save us waiting. The food was freshly cooked and very good. We will definitely make a point of visiting again when we are next in the area.

Top place with a top landlord. Small Fakers tribute night absolutely excellent and there was a guy I spoke to who played in a band who supported the originals in the 60s. Amazing, again, top place can't wait for the next time.

My first visit to this pub having passed it on numerous occasions. Very attractive both inside and out. Excellent beer garden with high quality furniture. I had a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord which was in excellent condition. I didn't eat but the menu looks good. Will come again.

First visit to the White Horse. Extremely helpful on booking. As odd number of us, were happy to seat us at a round rable which is much better for flow of conversation. Waiting staff were very friendly. Food was basic, fish, pies, sausages but was nicely presented and we all enjoyed our meals. Booked again for a December Christmas evening.

What a nice place this is. Excellent staff , outstanding rear garden... all music themed and decent food. Family and dog friendly. Regular live music. Recommend here for lunch.

Nice pub. Nice modern decor in a traditional old pub. Good Covid precautions indoors and outdoors with small cabins (photo) for outdoor eating and drinking. And a splendid larger cabin (photo) for a larger family group. Do book to reserve your place. Just to be sure.
