Xenuk Tandoori Restaurant in Wokingham

I stopped by on a business trip, I sample Indian food all over the UK. Food here was spot on with my individual taste and requirements. I rarely stop a second time but will definitely visit again if I am in the area. One of the owners was very friendly and gave me a table even though they were closing. The restaurant decor is welcoming and clean, staff are friendly. Thanks!!

My advice to anyone would be to avoid this place altogether. We tried it twice over the years and found the food and service less than average and very expensive at the same time. In desperation we tried it again for a takeaway during lock down and found it once again absolutely disgraceful . As always it was expensive,the wait time appalling and the food stone COLD. Xenuk’s is a dump I would recommend everyone to completely avoid so as not to waste your time nor money !

Had been for Dinner tonight.Good food, I would say it is one of the best Indian in Wokingham, am from India and I find it difficult to get decent Indian around Wokingham. We went for Sunday buffet, chicken Jalfrezi was great, food wasn’t sweet like other Indians around, spicy and well labelled.Friendly staff.

Superb authentic food. Dishes unique to them not in other restaurants. So good to have more than the run of the mill dishes. Deep rich flavors. Great variety if you are a non meat eater. Good service and food served piping hot on hot plates, Quirky atmosphere based on the sea with a fabulous marine fish tank spanning the wall. Not our first time, won't be our last.

Food ok....starters by far better tasting and better value than the mains, main courses are very small portions for price. Staff were not particularly attentive to be honest and it was mid week, quiet with only one other table to serve in the restaurant. The decor is rather dated and grubby and somewhat bizarre!! Although we're fairly local, this was the first visit for my partner and I, we decided on somewhere new for his birthday...sadly we won't be rushing back. A lot of room for improvement.
