Zizzi - Wokingham in Wokingham

Booked a table for 3pm, drove all the way from my house to the restaurant, when we got there , there was people in the restaurant eating but I was told to come back at 4pm. I said but that’s not the time on the timetable at the door and I’ve booked a table, the reply was 4pm. Must have disturbed their break

Husbands lasagne was bubbling on the outside but cold in the middle. Sent it back. Came back again bubbling on the outside but lukewarm in the middle and a sarcastic pink sticker saying "hot" stuck on the side of the dish. Come on guys, if you're simply reheating food it needs to be red hot throughout.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt it was necessary today!We had quite a big booking - there was 12 of us in total over two tables but the staff were not fazed at all.The food arrived in great time & was absolutely amazing! My pasta was quite possibly the most delicious meal I have ever had!Thank you for hosting us today & hopefully we can come back soon x

Would have given 1 star, due to having to place our order 4 times as the food we wanted was out of stock! (Lasagna/ spaghetti Bolognese/ calzone plus sweet potato chips) what made it an issue was we had ordered and then The waiter came back three times informing sorry that’s sold out too! however saved by another colleague seeing I was getting rather frustrated, stepping in and calming me down and offered some free drinks.

Need to better organise their kitchen and service too...half of our plates arrived too late or forgotten. Salads came as a desert! I don't think I'd go back there

Despite it was busy, service was excellent. Friendly staff, nice menu, good quality food.

Sadly visit this time wasn't good, many main and dessert choices on menu were unavailable at 7.15pm when they did come, didn't resemble description on menu!Toilets were absolutely disgusting and clearly not been checked for hours. When brought to the attention of the manager, he said he would check, but still the same an hour later with the sanitizer machine completely empty. Won't be going back there again. So many good restaurants have gone under since Covid and those left should be at their best.

Awful experience, seated then informed 50 % of menu unavailable. Nothing on there that i would have eaten. Manager just put hands up and said sorry. Asked why they didnt inform me, couldnt give an answer. Asked for glass of water given huge jug. Hand gel dispenser outside toilets empty. No offer to discount the bill. Terrible hole of a place, avoid

Great food and staff. Been there a few times with friends and kids. Their Calzone Pizza is amazing. The pasta is always fresh, very welcoming and kind staff. We always find a table and waiting time is less. Food arrives right on time after ordering. Great drinks menu and ambience too.
