Great location. Friendly staff. Very good price and if your lucky enough you can park right outside for a small fee. Rooms a little on the small side but comfortable. Noisy extractor fan and telly too small to see from bed. Otherwise great.

As my 3 stars say "It's ok". It seems like it would have been the place to go, in its day. Unfortunately, now its rather shabby. The room was expensive and not up to par. Other hotels for the same price are much more up to date. The paint was chipped off the walls, the light sockets were not fixed to the wall, the carpet must have been torn at some point so they put a metal runner over it, in the middle of the room, which could cause you harm. The bathroom had a distinct stinky odour not pleasant to the nostrils. The TV was the size of a laptop and they charged for Internet, this is very old fashioned. The radiator was small for the size of the room so it was always cold.Grand in its day, sorry to say not now.

Stayed for two nights in one of the rooms facing the back of the hotel. A bit of noise from the bus depot, not too bad (the wind made more noise!). The room was dated but clean and warm and cosy. Staff are friendly and very helpful! It's an older 'classic?' hotel and of course there are small things that could be improved on. The location is very good - very close to everything. On request before booking they also said they would be happy with our two small dogs! All this and no extra charge and just a waiver to sign on arrival - perfectly fair! Parking is limited but followed the hotels advice and it was ok- parked in the high street multistorey car park. Would stay again on a short stay but possibly go for a front facing room. Hopefully hotels like this don't disappear and just improve on a few things, preferred it to the generic premier Inn etc.

Nice decor downstairs and reception were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was pleasent. Rooms a bit outdated, shower head was only good if your under 5ft 8...so as I'm 6ft 3 was a bit annoying.

Stayed in a cheaper room at rear of building overlooking bus station. Clean but tired decor. Shower was close to impossible to extract hot water from!

Rooms small but clean. Staff very friendly. Rooms very hot, couldn't leave the windows open due to outside noise. Bed very uncomfortable.Breakfast poor. Not value for £115 a night. Premier in would have been better. Noisest shower I have ever used!

Great hotel for a very old one that's been in Worthing for years but it is good. The heating is always on so it's nice and you can open the window or turn the heating down if it's too hot but it's great overall

Clean bedroom, free WiFi, (if you want a Premium WiFi package, be prepared to pay) the free was good enough to stream Netflix, so good enough. Breakfast was good and hot with the option of a continental, English and cereal. Place very clean and covid safe. Right on seafront. Worth staying there

Positives, the hotel is right off the sea front with a pleasant green infront. The staff I dealt with were friendly enough, nothing over the top which I appreciate.Negatives, the hotel claims to have parking available, it doesn't. Around the green outside which was completely full of cars, they told me to just keep driving around till I found a space, then they could off me a discounted 24 hours parking for £8. It was clear from arriving that the cars parked there, were not moving for the rest of the night. I had to pay for parking which wouldn't be a problem if the parking wasn't a good walk away from the hotel. The room smelled, not of anything disgusting, just old, used, uncared for, even though it was clean, it still has a musty smell. The mattress although comfortable was incredibly thin. The window in my room looked directly onto some kind of bus station which was loud until around 11pm which is why I slept. The shower in the room was fantastic, really powerful with hot water, unfortunately I had to duck to get under it. I am not even 6 foot so I have never had this problem before. ROver all, I feel like the hotel is past its best. When the Premier Inn around the corner was a similar price, there really would only be 1 choice for me were I to visit again
