Sometimes a fish and chip shop is even greater its brilliant reviews.Really nice restaurant inside the fish and chip shop. Great atmosphere, nice sized tables and booths. Extremely friendly and quick service, fitted us in after calling through. Good to be able to have a pint with a fish and chip meal too.The fish is incredible with light and fluffy batter, cooked to perfection and with plenty of great chips. Recommend the curry sauce too. Simply excellent and nice to see a thriving family business.

Welcoming friendly staff even the chefs had a chat! huge huge portions definately book if you want to eat in, good value good quality food. We found by accident but were delighted! Will be going back!

I can't believe it's taken us so long to visit this restaurant! We booked in for lunch mid-week and glad we did book because it was very busy! We chose from the specials menu and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Tasty, superbly cooked and plentiful. Looking around there were lots of clean plates! We will definitely be back with friends!

Visited Saturday 15th January 2022. Spotlessly clean restaurant and takeaway area. Food is cooked freshly once ordered so be prepared to wait. However, it is worth the wait once you receive it piping hot. Fish batter was light, crisp and non greasy.Mediium size cod was about the size you would expect. Fillet was succulent. Chips were cooked to perfection. Well worth a visit.

Used to be amazing but now you wait half an hour for your food and the portion size for £8 comes out like that 🙃 Was meant to be a meal for two of us but had to bulk out the meal with bread and butter when we got home because there weren’t enough chips! you’re a chip shop?!

We had a very enjoyable family lunch here. The menu is varied and fairly priced. Good that fish can optionally be grilled instead of fried and new potatoes or salad are an alternative to chips. We managed to compile a decent vegetarian gluten-free meal for one of us by ordering several side dishes. My only criticism is that the service, though pleasant, was slow and lacking a spark.

Great food, cozy ambiance. Perfect place to dine if you are craving for fish n chips. Excellent customer service too. Will go back to this place.

I had a lovely time at The Original Chipwick. I had one of the best fish and chips and the service was excellent and attentive. I will definitely come back around as soon as I come back to Worthing.

Will quite happily do a 6 hour round trip for the fish and chips from here. Fantastic food and far more than just a chippy!

First time visit and very impressed. Fish was perfectly cooked and batter crisp without being overdone. Same with the chips, tasty, fresh and well cooked. I ordered also a portion of baked bean and the portion was generous. Service was great, friendly and efficient too, also well staffed. Meal was just under £18 for a soft drink, cod and chips and a portion of beans on the side. A little pricey (personal opinion) but all in all worth it.
