Had an excellent roast lunch. Beautifully presented the vegetables brought in separate dishes to help ourselves. Will definately go there for another Sunday lunch

Family friendly pub which is always worth a visit when in Tarring. Spacious garden with a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Most recent dining layout is also a nice addition.

Had a lunch at midday. Pretty busy but excellent staff who were helpful and competent. Best fish I've had on ages and my companions had mushroom risotto also excellent.x

Old style pub, clean and tidy, friendly bar staff, good atmosphere.

Gave food at the George & Dragon last night a go since its restaurant was taken over by "Dine". Great friendly service, food was certainly way above average for pub food. This cheeky burger was nicely done, even my mates Thai curry you could tell was cooked from scratch. Will certainly take more mates down there and wife and kids too will also be on the cards.

Had an enjoyable evening. First visit. An older style pub, nice.

Booked table 3 weeks ago for Sunday lunch . Turned up with friends . Options only Sunday roast but no chicken left ! Orders 2 beef 1 gammon and one just veg ☹️ Dinner turned up immediately (microwave)? However both beef dinners cold . Very disappointed ! Won’t go back. Plus got charged the same for just veg meal as roast meat meal ! Literally a plate of veg ?

Popped in for lunch today and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Incredibly friendly, excellent service. The food was great and the desserts were absolutely to die for. Very dog friendly also. Our pup got so many cuddles. Highly recommend.

First visit to The George and Dragon, new staff extremely attentive the whole time we were there. Great beer and tasty home made food. Will certainly be back again, more than worth many visits

Amazing pub. The new chef’s food has the wow factor. Linda & all her staff are so friendly. Just lovely
