Issa Sushi in Worthing

Just had an amazing meal at Issa Sushi. Took my sister there as a birthday treat, we hadn't booked but they were happy to accommodate us. Such delicious fresh seafood. The salmon sashimi was to die for! So many great plates of food. Friendly and efficient service too. Can't wait to go back 😘

extremely unreliable delivery. trying to order is like taking a shot in the dark, half of the time they’re not even delivering for absolutely no reason whatsoever. the delivery is also always slow and with cold food.

Issa is wonderful, the staff are excellent and a lovely atmosphere. If you always wonder if you like Japanese food and want to give it a bash, here is the place to try it. Food is amazing and very well priced.

New visit (18/04/22): This was a takeaway order via JustEat. Order was scheduled to arrive between 19:45 and 20:00 (placed order at 18:30) however it arrives shortly after 7, happy days!I ordered some hosomaki, sashimi and nigiri and everything was excellent. The salmon sashimi was particularly excellent, just so delicious. If you can't make it into town, don't worry about ordering a takeaway, quality is still fantastic. Each item arrives in its own container with soy sauce, the usual fake wasabi and pickled ginger.Original review:Lovely Japanese restaurant in central Worthing. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. I had (with a friend) the salmon hokomaki, salmon sashimi and the chicken ramen; the sushi is prepared fresh and tastes wonderful, the ramen is filling and satisfying, like how a ramen dish should be.That plus drinks (plus another bowl of ramen) came to around £40, note, if they offer the prawn crackers, it's around £3 extra. Will definitely go back again at some point. We visited at around 1pm on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet. The restaurant wasn't originally on Google maps so visibility of the restaurant wasn't at its best.

Delicious bento box and sushi in Worthing. Friendly staff too.

Great food, the sushi was fantastic, so was everything else.Service was great too.Highly recommended. We'll be back again.

Went with my father and brother. Once we walked in we were greeted nicely, got shown to a table, ordered our meal and the service was amazingly speedy! Totally recommend if you like Japanese food!

Came for a birthday meal with 6 guests, the birthday boy asked if they could make a bento box for his meal. The waitress asked the lady in charge who very promptly snapped "no we cant!" in front of all of us. It was so rude and inappropriate we got up and left. We would of spent a lot of money that night but rudeness changed the atmosphere. The poor waitress looked embarrassed to be snapped at in front of customers. No need for such attitude 😔

Such appalling Service from the waitress today from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. We weren't shown to our table, the menus was thrown onto the table. Our main meal came out when we were eating out starters so we had to plates on them but had to get one re--heated. No apology from the waitress and didn't ask us if it was ok. We decided at the end of the meal to not pay the service charge as we were made to feel so unwelcome. Asked the waitress to take this off as we had poor service. Yet again no apology or asking us what was wrong !!!!. We have been here many times and had a lovely meal but this has put us off completely and we will not be returning

Absolutely love ordering from here. Amazing and fresh sushi and so generous on the salmon and fish in the rolls and dishes. Prices are decent maybe high ish but don't be put off as Quality tasting dishes should have a good price point! Been Brighton to many sushi places and this place knocks these big time....super tasty! I need to explore more dishes ...Thanks!
