Excellent food and service. We both had the confit duck and breast of pheasant for a main. The duck was delicious and tender. Service very friendly and customer focussed.

We chose the Parsonage for its menu and were not disappointed. The welcome and service from door to table to plate was friendly without being intrusive, and efficient. The food was well presented, delicious and memorable. We both agree that we will return again when next we decide to dine out.

We are 3 friends celebrating 70th birthday. We had an excellent lunch and chose the lamb which was so tender. Good service from friendly waiter with a ready smile. Definitely will go again.

A lovely clean environment, we opted to have a table outside under a gazebo. The food was sublime, very well presented and the taste was amazing. The staff were well presented, helpful and new the answers to any question we had. We highly recommend you try The Parsonage.

Have visited before. Beautiful building, very old & atmospheric. First time eating in outdoor courtyard tonight, great covered areas, weather (hard rain) no issue, outdoor heaters more than adequate. Food at usual five star standard. Waiting staff genuinely friendly, professional & added extra value to our evening. Staff managed several dietary requests well above expectations. Thank you, look forward to visiting again soon.

All very pleasant. Lovely outdoor seating area although some tables a bit too close for social distancing comfort. Food was very well presented, tasted wonderful, we had the BBQ pork ribs with seasoned wedges, salad dressing followed by dessert of which one was meringue, cream, raspberry sorbet with blueberries, sliced pear, strawberries & I think a Mirabel, the other was dark chocolate fondant, a warm sponge with soft centre, Chantilly cream and fresh berries, both delicious. Efficient and pleasant staff, toilets clean and nice. Reasonably priced. Recommend and will go again.

What a quaint little place. 400 years old and still going strong. Lovely meal, great environment. Deserts were to die for. A must if you are in the neighbourhood. If the place could only tell what it has been through in all those years. All I can do now is tell what it is like at the moment, great friendly staff.
