Always liked this place for the variety of drinks and ambience but unfortunately have had 2 dissapointing experiences with food both at dinner and breakfast. Extremely slow service and finer details missing off dishes. Servers lacking customer service skills which required a managerial discussion to take a % off the bill. Would come again for drinks but not food.

Fantastic International Women's brewing day here today, so informative, hands on experience.Matthew Walker, our brewing manager, explained the process in terms easily understood and such fun actually getting involved at each stage. Beer tasting on another level. Would highly recommend to all

We stayed over in December 2021 whilst visiting family. Our room was lovely, retro feel with a lovely bathroom. We were above one of the bars which was a bit noisy (music) however, the manager was able to control the music in each section of the pub and it was dealt with straight away. We had a good meal in the evening and a really nice breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful and we will definitely be staying again.

Nice venue and decor but a very average breakfast to be honest. No prices advised on the breakfast menu which was odd. Toast was burnt for both fry ups, no butter provided and had to enquire about sauces, which for me are two standard items that should automatically come with a fry up or at least be offered. The Green Flash breakfast did not live up to its description of smashed avocado - it was served as some fairly meagre slices - seemed lazy. So I have to agree with many of the other reviews, nice people and lots of potential to this place but some points for improvement. I doubt I will return for food as in my view the quality did not live up to the prices on this occasion.

We were very disappointed in our visit. Group of 8 and prety much everyone had something not right with a part of the meal. Drinks being forgotten about, garlic bread had to be asked for and when arrived was so crispy it couldn't be eaten. Our kids meal was advertised with peas, that never arrived, then when asked we were told they were out of peas but he could have brocoli. We were then told they had peas but these never actually showed up. Neither did the brocoli so we just gave up. Had to ask for the drink for the kids meal as that never came and then after another half hour had to ask again for the desert. Table was booked in advance and were told you have 2 hours allocated,We were over 2 hours from sit down before the donuts even came out! Overall very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

Very poor, attended with 3 friends intending to eat on Tuesday. I did ring a few days previous to ask if we needed to book a table, helpful person on the phone said as Tuesday is a slow night and there was only one other party of a dozen of more on the Christmas menu there was no need to book also as we weren't interested in the Christmas menu.Arrived at 8 went to order some drinks around 8:15 and then ask to order food to be told that the kitchen was shut and there is no food being served as 2 chefs had gone sick.Really disappointed this want explained before we ordered the drinks, staff behind bar were grumpy and not really helpful. Will think twice about going again.

Went for breakfast to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When ordering full English breakfast, we were told they do not serve hashbrowns. Can be ordered as extra. On pointing out that they were listed, waitress said she would point that out to chef. On delivery, there was no black pudding, but did include had browns! Waitress stated they did not serve that item.On further inspection, breakfast, eggs, and bacon were burnt, mushrooms were cold (in a cold cast iron pot?) Toast had no butter, roasted tomato was hardly heated, never mind roasted. It is no wonder that the restaurant was almost empty at 10.00am on a Saturday morning.. the building is beautiful, and the coffee was delicious, but I doubt I will be back again.

we went mid week for lunch. we had the sharing platers and every dish was very tasty. Good value and good portion sizes. Jo and Stuart were great, very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone.

First time there this evening since its been decorated. My family and I were looking very much forward to enjoying our evening and having some succulent food.?However it turned out to be a complete disaster as my husbands burgers were burnt and my sons burger was completely burnt and was so dry and had no sauce nothing was absolutely disgusting and appalling and was not expecting that what so ever. Also my husband and I had prawns to start and there is no mention on the menu that the prawns have shells on which we both detest.Your chefs need to change and actually get someone in there that can cookThe manager was very understanding and seemed shocked like we were.Won't be eating here again.

Had my wedding reception at the Brew House. Lucy and her team made so much effort during the day, amazing service for such a large group of people. Food was pretty good and the room was set out and dressed beautifully. Had a fantastic day there , would recommend!
