Sussex Yeoman in Worthing

Came yesterday for lunch with the kids. Really enjoyed our food, and thought the price was very reasonable. Staff are all polite and helpful. I'd definitely recommend the burgers, really tasty. Thank Yeoman for lovely afternoon. 😊👍

I quite often do reviews when things aren't right, so it always makes a pleasant change to praise a particular establishment. Went for my sons 30th birthday and couldn't have been more pleased with the young lady server, she helped in every way possible to make it an enjoyable evening from finding a pair of scissors when we needed them to refrigerating the birthday cake 🎂 and clearing up afterwards. The prices were amazing 👏 for these days and the food was first class 👌. Would highly recommend them.

Since the takeover of management around 2 years ago, this establishment has got better and better! The food is great, good value for money and you can tell the staff care about their customers. On our visit the other day, we had Dave (manager), Leanne and Harri (waiting staff), and they were all superb! I didn't get to meet the chefs as of course they're in the kitchen doing some pretty amazing stuff, so I'd like to include them as well. We made ourselves suffer with the BOGOF burger offer, subsequently followed by a Candymania challenge, of which is photographed for your amusement. The glass is about the size of a child's head. It's fair to say we were in a food coma afterwards...Thank you for another enjoyable visit - it was wonderful! We will be back soon.

Excellent place for food. Very wide choice on menu and all the items we ordered were well prepared and quite tasty. They are famous for their big plates and with good reason. Also the food was served very quickly. Have been twice already.

The food & service were very good even though my meal was overlooked when seving the rest of our party. I was served a little later but enjoyed my meal very much.Good service & value for money.

Came for my Birthday meal with the family.The staff were very friendly and accomoding as my partners kids had allergies and they made sure everything was handled carefully and separately.The food was affordable and the portions definitely big! The big ice cream desert did 4 people at our table!! It was definitely a challenge and a half.Only down side is the Internet struggled with ordering on the app for us, not sure if the WiFi was having issues.

Nice place food had amazing portions perfectly cooked to your choice and amazing prices but the bathrooms let the place down there was feaces on the walls and the toilet which isn't very hygienic considering children come here so you get a okay from me

So, after a days decorating at home I decided to take my pal for a meal and a beer. Only two other tables were ordering food.We ordered two 8oz steaks with chips etc. and peppercorn sauce. When the food arrived the steak was definitely not 8oz and was also cold. The chips were crispy but not cooked through, the peppercorn sauce was congealed, cold and less than half a tiny gravy boat full.After I voiced my complaint to the manager Dave, he did replace the meals. However, these were not much better.We paid via the app and wanted to leave.Since then I have called three times, and left messages for the manager to call me back, and was assured he would.I didn't want to leave a negative review, so I was willing for him to get in touch so I could explain my disappointment. However, after 4 days I have heard nothing, so felt I was left with no option.Very poor management, especially during these times when the hospitality industry needs all the customer and positive feedback possible.Please don't bother wasting your time and money going here.

Really great service, covid processes and the food was great too! Parking has a charge initially which can be refunded inside, or just scan a qr code and enter your number plate inside.
