The Egremont Pub and Restaurant in Worthing

I liked it.... It's a nice oasis of old fashioned comfortably and local friendliness.Quality drinks, downside just a tadd expensive.

Good selection of beers to be had. Gin selection good too. Saw Mickey Hart n the heartbreakers the other sat. Great rock n roll style band. A great night was had by 4 of us & a rather full pub. Great bar staff too.Keep up the good work

Food was really nice, although food did take a long time and one incorrect order which was Rectified. good size portions. The server was really friendly. I will go back 😃

Wish we'd got to sample these highly rated "Amazing Roasts!!!"My partner called to check availability for lunch and was told yes come on down. We were not even 10 minutes away. By the time we entered the bar and had spoken with the bar staff members no one had a recollection of the phone call "booking" at all, actually confusing us with another booking for a couple with two children? So off she went to check with her Manager. Yes you're table will be ready it's just being "Wiped Down" have a drink whilst you're waiting. We waited 10-15 minutes in the bar waiting for the table wipe down. I returned to the bar to politely enquire on how things were progressing, the two bar staff I spoke didn't have a clue I was waiting and again went to speak to the Manager whilst we sat back down to finish our drinks. After no member of staff returned we gave up waiting and walked out. Friendly but really poor customer service. Really poor!! Oh and the couple with the two kids arrived after us and were seated straight away!! :-(

Wow, wow, wow! An unexpected findLovely pub and restaurant. Friendly staff.But the food was amazing. My husband, the steak Police! says it was the best rib eye he had ever had. I had a selection of small plates, all delicious. What a find 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Just had the BEST roast dinner. We eat out every Sunday and popped in to the pub for a drink before heading off in to Worthing town centre for the day. The smells coming from the kitchen got our tastebuds flowing so we decided to see if there was a table for two. Staff were more than accommodating. ordered pork belly which came with perfect crackling and the beef came out to perfection. the vegetables and the cauliflower cheese were also sublime. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 for the food and the service from all the staff was exemplary. Going to be hard to go anywhere else for a Sunday lunch from now on.

Wow! Held a milestone birthday party at this character and full of charm, venue. They are happy to help tailor requirements and the buffet provided was quality! Hard working, team spirited staff helped make it a memorable experience. So recommend them.

We stumbled on this pub as were staying in a local hotel for football at Worthing the next day. There was live music but it was the friendly locals that enhanced my enjoyment. Good choice of drinks and great service.

Busy pub, but plenty of tables so we didn't have to wait. Good selection of drinks and good food menu. Went for a roast this time, at about £12 each it's not bad value. Really good roast, lovely meat and good selection of veg. Pleased with the service and speed, only waited 10mins for the food despite it being busy
