Can honestly say this was the worst experience I have ever had in a Wetherspoons. Visited many over the years in various parts of the country and only had one complaint which was dealt with very well. At this pub after being told no fish and chips were available, I ordered ham, egg and chips. The chips tasted awful and I really believe they had been reheated from the day before, the eggs were overcooked and the ham tasteless. No one checked if our food was ok but when a young man collected our plates, I explained why most of my food was left and he just said "oh dear". On visiting the toilets, I was appalled at the state of them. I will certainly not be visiting this pub again. Do not let this review put you off visiting other Wetherspoons, they are mostly of a much higher standard. To add insult to injury, on the way out we saw people being served fish and chips!!

Do not have the steak if you go here . Was full of tough vains and gristle. When I complained was told " all the steaks are like that so would you like something else " . I then had the burger thinking that I could not go wrong and then found a hard lump of gristle also in that. Would never eat here again . Toilets were also discussing no loo roll and dirty . AVOID , AVOID, AVOID

I don't need to review, if you use pubs and Weatherspoons you know what to expect. This one attracts bargain seeking Drinkers, need I say more. The staff are always courteous though. If you use weatherspoons as I do occasionally, this one is typical, often runs out of stock on some drinks.

Great clean pub, first time using the app to order drinks and worked brilliantly, didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes for the order to arrive at the table on a Saturday night.

Food nice just a pub for a drink cheap drink decor not the best but if you just want a quick drink before going somewhere perfect or some food very good .

Food took ages, drinks never arrived, rude waitress who ignored us, shrugged and couldn't care less. I know it's only a Spoons but won't be coming back!

This isn't the biggest spoons but there's still plenty of space. The menu is the normal one you find in all spoons but provides a great range and something for everyone. The pub is well kep, clean and tidy. The food was well cooked and the service great. Staff were so friendly and checked to make sure everything was okay with our meals.

We don't expect high quality but it would be good if the waitress did her job well and been trained in customer service. It would have been great if our food had arrived roughly at the same time, that items weren't missing, the cutlery arrived at the same time as the food and the serviettes were dry! Some food went cold due to waiting so long for cutlery and trying to sort out the missing items. We had eaten there a few weeks before and we had been served by a different person and they were great.

Great venue for meeting up with a large crowd of pals. Very pleasant door people. Efficient bar staff, cheap booze, plenty of lavatories (could do with being tidied up here and there but clean and "stocked").Atmosphere was very loud and buzzing, very warm, possibly not enough ventilation / filtered air.

The furniture is looking a bit old, but any preconceptions were soon swept to one side. Tables were being cleaned regularly and we had no trouble finding a clean one. The food arrived quickly, was reasonably priced and the staff were really really friendly and helpful. It makes a huge difference when the staff are so friendly. They have a great team here.
