Needed somewhere for lunch when we discovered that the local takeaways were not delivering. Conveniently located close to the M40 J3 there was a Sunday carvery on offer which well met the bill with efficient, friendly people and good quality food and selection of veg. Love veg, especially roast potatoes and parsnips! Cannot vouch for the value for money because my companion picked up the tab as a 'thank you' for speaking at his church this morning. Well worth a try...

It was fine and brilliant value with the lunchtime two meal deal. Service was good and the food was served hot.It has put it back on our list again. Wife wasn't impressed that it cost an extra £1.50 for her fish and chips considering the price, and getting fish and chips at all I was relaxed.

Sunday is the best day here! Super cheap, great quality grub for mothers day. :)

Wasn't particularly very busy, it was my parents' wedding anniversary. Shame there was so much off the menu for both mains and desserts and this was a Thursday at 1pm. Food we did decide on was great, but never seen such small sausages on an adults sausages and chips meal. They were no bigger than my thumb and only 3 of them. We had to go find someone to come clear our table and take dessert order as we waited for 45 mins but like I say, it wasn't that busy.A very different experience to when we went 4 years ago in the evening and it was very busy but so much more efficient. Lovely setting though

I went here this morning because few people in High Wycombe told me that the buffet breakfast is amazing here. That’s true! Unlimited eat and drinks for £9.50. It’s not only for the price, cause the food is really good: eggs, bacon and sausages are fresh made and not dry and hard like I ate in other places. The coffee machine is good, I had a cappuccino and it was delicious. There were also hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes and the continental part with yogurt, muesli, porridge and fruits.I will go back for sure! 🤩

I had stayed the night at the neighbouring Premier Inn and after a restful, quiet night sleep, was drawn in by the card in my room advertising the £9.50 all-you-can-eat-cooked breakfast. Throwing caution to the wind and in the face of the nearby defibrillator instructions, I made my way to the lobby, however as there was nobody at the reception to book a table I decided to chance my luck to see if I could be accommodated. On arrival, I was relieved to see that the restaurant was relatively empty save four tables of diners and it seemed that my joyful 'premier' stay would be allowed to continue. I was met by 5463 James M, (at least this is who appears on my receipt) and was advised that as the restaurant could be very busy, I would normally require a reservation. This opening gambit felt a little confrontational for a front of house greeting, unaccompanied as it were without the merest smile or pleasantry. 5463 James M requested that he take payment upfront - no problem - yet as the card reader was prepared, he reinforced the notion that as the restaurant often catered for contractors, table space should not be taken for granted. Rather than doffing my cap and weeping tears of gratitude, I simply smiled and reassured 5463 James M that my visit would be a one-off.The food, although very nice, was tainted by the sour attitude that had left me feeling most unwelcome. I will not be returning nor recommending Brewers Fayre. In my humble opinion as a customer, 5463 James M's attitudes is contrary to the prerequisite namesake in the hospitality sector.

Stayed at the premier inn which was a disaster but this pub more than made up for our disappointment. The staff were attentive for our evening meal when we met up with family and the following mornings breakfast was lovely and helped us on our way before heading back up north. I’d like to pay a special thanks to Evie who was lovely and very kind, thank you x

The chips tasted like cardboard and were overcooked. The burger made me appreciate the chips and was pink in the middle. The bread was the best part despite being charred and shrivelled. The food was so bad that me and my boyfriend went to teacoes to clean our mouths out with own-brand icecream.

The food was terrible. All four of the burgers were pink in the middle and the buns were charred. Chips were browned but soggy and the mayonnaise had a very chemical taste which resembled hand sanitizer.

Xmas Lunch with the family. Booked table in advance advising them I had a wheelchair and needed access. We arrived and they showed us to the table..... up 3 steps so we had to wait until they could rearrange the tables. After this everything else was fine, service was good and the food was great. However, we booked a takeaway Xmas dinner for my dad as he was unable to attend. They put the Xmas dinner (from the buffet) into 2 cardboard type boxes. They charged us £39.99 for this dinner which in total was less than we'd had on our plate. We paid £39.99 per head for Xmas lunch, which included a starter, carvery, dessert, coffee, Mince Pie and a cracker. So whilst the food quality was great the overall package was disappointing!
