Chicken Cottage in Wycombe

Great food. Especially the BBQ/Grilled Burger and Half Chicken! Incredibly delicious. The aroma as I enter the shop fills my curious nose and makes me even hungrier. The taste is fantastic but the reason I gave it 4 stars is because of below average service and long waiting times.

Service could be better, e.g. tell me I have to wait for a certain item to be cooked so I'm not guessing. There's a huge mural on the wall saying only fresh food, nothing processed... well the chicken strips were reformed chicken, I.e. processed and not fresh, so a bit of false advertising there

When I went to collect my food and pay, I paid with what cash I had and the remaining amount on card, however, they tried to charge me a lot more on the card reader then what was due left to pay. Luckily I noticed this and mentioned it but they easily could have gotten away with it if I didn't look.

We were denied a dine in experience after paying for a gourmet chicken meal. We were forced to eat our chicken in the streets, this was not the chicken cottage we were expecting.

Just ordered 2 steak burger meals for collection over the phone, they said 10min, reached there in ten minutes, they haven't even started to prepare the order, after 30min I got my order ready, with burger with no top bun, both sides bottom bun is placed, burger bun was burned-out completely. Person on till was so rude, chips half cookedWasted my money and time. Please do something about it, it's brand damaging for chicken cottage.

Very friendly staff, they are always engaging positively with staff and always willing to help. The chicken is fresh and juicy. I love kfc but I chicken cottage chicken more juicy. The grilled chicken is lush. Their bbq wings are the best if I could get hold of their bbq sauce or chilli sauce omds

Chips are really nice and the wings also taste good but sometimes the wings have not been cleaned properly of the feathers....grill chicken be dry at times so stopped eating this long time ago. Chicken fillet burger can be a hit and miss at times. Unfortunately visiting the new open place and expecting the burger to be fresh made but unfortunately it seems like they leave the fillet out too long and it gets cold, and tastes dry, very disappointing….

I ordered a chicken burger and it tastes really disgusting like it’s been left out for 2 days. Chips are alright though only good thing you can get besides the cheeseburger

Good crisp chicken, with good coating, and really good fries.
