chutney in Wycombe

I get better service in takeaways and this is supposed to be a restaurant. I'm glad they didn't charge service charge as I wouldn't be happy paying that. Also the server had to bring in the manager multiple times to help out as he couldn't understand English, and I was literally asking for simple things, he didn't know what a "normal tissue" was.Another disappointing thing is their menu in front of their door has completely different prices than when you actually walk in and sit down. So even though the service charge wasn't included in my bill technically I have paid it with the inflated prices.

Staff very attentive and gave a good level of service. Really interesting and hearty food that tastes great. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor.

The food at Chutneys has been consistent over the decades. Amazingly flavourful meals and friendly service. They have come through the pandemic strength to strength, winning awards for their cooking. I would highly recommend booking a table for an all-around good evening experience.

I have been to numerous Indian restaurants, 5*, 4* etc.But by far, this restaurant exceeds a 5*!The food is AMAZING. It was so flavoursome and succulent.I ordered the Garlic Lamb Chilli masala (I believe) and it was just so delicious with a garlic nan on the side!The paneer was also a great starter!Customer service was amazing. The staff were so sweet and quick to take orders, bring food. It was an amazing atmosphere as a whole. I would HIGHLY recommend it! <3

Celebrated my 60th birthday with family there as always Chutney is my favourite the guys there can never do enough to helpful they truly are best.Can wait for my next visit

Good food, great service, lovely people. Rocky and his team are the best. Restaurant or Take Away, food here is the beat in town. My family and I always eat here for family birthdays. Wheelchair access accommodated.

Visited Chutney tonight. Enjoyable meal but chutneys for the poppadoms came in plastic containers. Ordered a tandoori mixed grill which was fabulous but I was given a small side plate to eat it on. Service given wasn’t that good and only one other table was occupied so the place wasn’t busy. My wife ordered a Chicken tikka for her main course and was charged and brought a starter size!!! Then at the end of our meal the waiter asked if we wanted to order another main course!!!

High standard of cooking with efficient if somewhat cold service. Prawn nahibi is excellent.Since the Covid changes of fewer tables it also feels less frenetic which is nice just hope the lower covers is sustainable in the long run.
