Corner Plaice in Wycombe

Chips & fish were ok- but please don't order curry sauce- it's like a curry flavour cup a soup- truly awful.. curry sauce should be fresh, and thicker... love my curry sauce with fish & chips, so it's got to be somewhere else unless the curry sauce changes...

Very disappointed in the food. Ordered a LARGE fish, it was not a large fish. Ordered a LARGE mixed kebab, it was not a large kebab. My family of 4 ordered our food it took 1 and a half hours to arrive . Your even charged 10p for the bag it comes in and a £1 for the little bit of salad you get. Not forgetting the delivery charge. We will NOT be going back.

Good quality fish and chips, friendly orgaised staff.

Absolutely the worst chips I have ever tasted. Despite me having to wait the owner still decided to re dry old chips. The chips were so bad I had to return them. The rude owner insisted they were fresh and I should not be complaining. Got a full refund and will never be going back again. Avoid at all cost. Another chipshop within a couple miles at the top of new road, an actual chip shop that can cook chips.

Just got fish/chips from here. We ordered Haddock but got Cod and wasn't very nice chips were near cold won't be going there again

Very long wait as everything cooked whilst you wait, at least it's hot!! Chips were obviously lunchtime left overs re-cooked therefore dry and hard and totally inedible and we ended up throwing them away.Maybe better later in the evening when food fresher..........

You can park out front.The service was slow on the day that i was there. But the girl that served me was a little Ray of sunshine always smiling. So I left with a positive impression of the business and didn't mind the wait at all. Food was not brilliant, similar to most chip shops. So 4*

Visited today and can honestly say what fantastic tasting fish and chips we had. The best we've tasted in High Wycombe so far. Freshly cooked to order, I waited and was rewarded. Thank you :)

The owner is a great guy and really takes care of his customers. I love the chips as they are fluffy and crispy on the outside.A few things that would make the place outstanding:1 - staff should wear hats and masks and a white overall. Hygiene is important and I don’t like that the staff are in normal street clothes.2 - portion sizes have indeed shrunk and the prices have gone up3 - you guys really need to work on your batter. It is soggy and just saturated in oil. I would seriously recommend you change the recipe of the batter or visit some award winning fish and chips shops to really appreciate good batter.Try the sea shell of Lisson grove where the fish is outstanding.I really hope you guys work on the above and you will have an award winning shop on your hands.Looking forward to the changes.
