George & Dragon in Wycombe

George & Dragon typifies an everyman's English pub. It offers a number of beers of draft. The food offerings (Fish and chips with mushy peas) are quite good.

We ordered a “Value Menu”. I ate fish and chips, that was very good and the price was unbelievable :)Recommended 👍🏼

Good value and location. Friendly staff.Decent size portions, and good Turkey roast. Arguably 5 stars for value.

Very nice relaxed atmosphere in a lovely town. Ordered haddock and chips and was delicious.

Very busy and conveniently located pub on a busy May Bank Holiday but unfortunately understaffed! As a result, the floors were littered, the tables were not cleared for the two hours we spent indoors, and male toilets smelled awful with water logged floor and one of the two hand basins out of order!The food was delivered on time with good service and the Guinness was great. 👍

Lovely pub let down by staff who are more concerned with problems with pulling pints and soft drinks than any form of positive interaction with customers. Do not think I’ve ever been served by someone less interested in their customers. Prices of drink good for area. We left after one drink and went to the old brewery up the road for a brilliant customer care contrast.

Good customer service. The food was very tasty and reasonable value considering it's Marlow. Not particularly characterful once inside but a pleasant place to enjoy a meal or drink.

We were in the area and so paid a visit to the George and dragon. The food service was a bit slow but we did not mind as we were not in a hurry. We enjoyed the meal and it is very good value. We will visit again.

Shocking Mothers Day Lunch, best word to describe this pub is WAITING. waiting to be seated even though we had booked, waiting for drinks order, waiting for starter which they got wrong, waiting for over an hour for our Main, definition of a Roast Potatoe, is that it is Roasted!!! Waiting for another round of drinks. After asking one waiter if we could order more drinks she answered "WHAT" I repeated and waited another 20 mins to end up going to the bar ourselves! One lovely waitress who was trying but only so many times you can apologise!

Didn’t have food there.As I went in it all seemed a bit too chilled, as staff were not attending the people walking in, waiters walking slow to serve food, just one bar staff so it cause a big queue of people wanting to order a drink, and no table service outside.Rating it like this because it’s the vibe it gave me.Had a great beer though!!!
