The Le De Spencers Arms remains a classic country pub. Great food, great beer, a really friendly staff team.Its perfectly placed for a Sunday lunch, or a quick beer after a long walk throughthe comkon. Inside is cosy, and well planned.The Garden excels, with a play area at the far end, patios with greenery and a covered eating area. If you want to while away a summer evening there's nowhere else that comes close for miles.

Lovely pub in the woods. Good selection of drinks and good food offering. Quite small inside so worth to phone to book a table first. Nice outside space with some heaters and play area for children.

The staff are first class here. Local and personal. You are not just a punter, they look after you. We need more like this. Worth the drive to visit this place. The menu is good and the chips are superb!

We came here for lunch last week. What delicious home cooked food! The bar manager and staff were very nice too! We will definitely be back 🙂

Randomly dropped in on a wet Saturday afternoon and was warm walcomed. We were given a great table then ordered a couple of wonderful sharers and starters. What a great afternoon, thank you for the lovely atmosphere and service.

Had the most delicious Christmas meal here with a friend, having been invited at the last minute. Was gifted the veggie wellington which was sublime, full of flavour and I'm a fish and meat eater. Honestly would order that next time !

The Le De Spencer is an amazing country pub tucked away in the village of Downley. The owners are fab and have made us feel very welcome! I had my Birthday there with the family and Mark and the rest of the team made it very enjoyable. The food was fantastic as always. Looking forward to the next visit.
