Lions Of Bledlow in Wycombe

Love this pub for all sorts of reasons some of which go back the 60's. Good food, wonderful spot, and a shed load of memories!

I am absolutely disgusted by our experience at the Lions. We were told that food was served all day on Sunday so we arrived around 6 to be told meals weren’t served until 7 o’clock. We ordered drinks and put in our food order just before 7. The pub wasn’t busy and the people who were there were absorbed in watching a football match. Around 7.30 we were told by a member of staff that the chef wasn’t going to be cooking that night. Simply couldn’t be bothered was the impression we got. We had hungry children with us, but had no option but to leave. Will definitely not be returning. Since then we were told the food wasn’t that good, so another reason not to return. Can’t believe anyone can run a business like that. They don’t deserve to be successful.

Interesting pub. Good stop over if you’re walking in the area.

Visited this place many times ......Nice location, great pub, nice range of real ales from local breweries, friendly and helpful staff, great local walks with super views .....what more could you want ?

Brilliant country pub with a wonderful selection of real ales as it is a free house. Food is amazing , looking forward to visiting again soon.

Dropped in for drinks and lunch after a brief walk. Interesting guest beers available and a good selection of meals from both the menu and a specials board. The four meals we had were enjoyed by all. Soups could have been bigger, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Great pub with excellent granary baguettes along with a pint of Hooky.

My old haunt from years ago that I don’t visit enough. Good selection of ales & food, and a great location for views and walks.

The owner was away and the stand in crew did a good job. Reasonable food but not overly generous portions and as you can see from the photos, not that good to look at but it tasted fine.
