Friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced drinks. The 20% discount for Veterans was very well received. Nice to know we're appreciated by some businesses. Thanks guys, I'll be back.

Had a lovely meal today- food was really nice and the garden was great to sit in and enjoy a drink. Really lovely staff too, particularly Sharon who went above and beyond to make our meal out enjoyable.

A very standard menu not helped by the fact that on the day we went (Monday) the fish and chips was unavailable. I opted for the scampi which was bland. My son had a burger which was average. Greene King pub so pricing is fair for the average food. Rebellion beer on tap is a plus. Atmosphere is quiet as it was a Monday. Staff are excellent, polite, friendly, warm and unobtrusive.

Went for the lunch time special of rump steak toastie with salad and chips n a glass of rosy for just over £7. it was absolutely yummy and huge, so couldn't do it justice n had to leave quite a bit unfortunately. The staff were great too. Going again next week with another friend, can't wait.

Lovely pub. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I had a southern fried chicken burger and I have to say it was the nicest I've ever eaten, both taste and texture. My husband had katsu curry and he said it was excellent. Will definitely go again if we're ever Marlow. Thanks guys x

Delicious and unique food. A very specific atmosphere that catered perfectly for what we were looking for. Couldn't ask for much more.

Purely based on the food as the service was lovely. Really nice girl on the bar. The kids burgers were thin and crispy, burger baps dry and stale tasting. Just really disappointing adult mains too.

Fantastic. First time back since full lockdown lift and had a lovely very reasonably priced lunch. Arrived quickly and nice and hot. Nice polite friendly staff. Favourite place for good food.

I visited the Marlow Donkey for my Christmas do a few weeks ago.CUSTOMER SERVICE: There were both good and bad parts to this. The table service was very good and was done very well. The table service team was nice and very prompt with the food. Visiting the bar was slightly different. I think there should have been more than two person in the bar so as to help limit waiting times. On two occasions we were waiting for over 15 minutes to make our orders. I see this as an issue for them because we were ordering drinks for about 18 people with bottles on wine one top. If it wasn't for the do we would have left.FOOD : the food was really good and every one enjoyed it. The desserts were also simple but very very well done and well presented.Overall the experience was good. A few subtle changes can make the experience that much better.
