Great little Indian restaurant. The whole family loved the food and would go back in a heartbeat. The balti and chicken wings were flavoursome. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

My second visit to Olive and not disappointed! We decided to come back for the banquet night that they have and all I can say is go hungry! Tonight I had their chicken biriyani and it’s the first one that I can honestly say is so good! I’ve visit many Indian restaurants and I’m always disappointed by their biriyani but Olives biriyani was excellent! The Chicken Bhuna was delicious! All of it was superb! Go and have a meal at Olives you won’t be disappointed!

Ransom stop and find passing through the town. They accommodated us and our 'off menu' request. The food was a real gem. Well put together dishes, tasty!

A friendly and welcoming restaurant. From the moment we entered until the moment we left we had amazing service. They even poured the drinks on the table. The food was wonderful, and all beautifully presented. Each dish was full of flavour and well cooked. This restaurant also had some Indian desserts (not just the ice-cream standard stuff) Try the Halwa! The restaurant itself had a fresh modern feel with soft lighting and comfortable chairs.Toilets were very clean and the hot tap even worked! Quite rare I've only had hot water in an Indian toilet three times!Parking was available, but sparse.Moderately priced, good value with decent portions.

Have used olive for years but the last 3 takeaways have been very disappointing one arrived stone cold another pan hour after the time they told me it would and tonight my order was 45 minutes late things missing and I was told they would deliver them in 15 to 20 minutes I’m now 40 minutes into waiting and will definatly be looking for a new Indian restaurant from now on!! I only allowed the first mistakes because I used to really enjoy it but it’s definitely gone right down hill and prices also have gone right up

This has to be the worst restaurant in Hemel Hempstead. I did not want to leave the review but I felt I had to, I surprised this place has so many good reviews, I suspicious of they are genuine Reviews. This is not personal but this needs to be done .We ordered chicken biryani and a lamb sag , when the food was bought to our table I was shocked to see the size of the biryani, it’s was a kids size extremely tiny , the Nan was soggy and full of sugar .The place has an banquet offer and we clearly mentioned we will be ordering from the menu and not doing his banquet deal as they generally reduce the portions .After tasting the Lamb dish and the Biriyani , you could taste the food was old and most likely leftover food that has been used again for the biryani , the rice was very mushy and slimy , the lamb also tasted like leftover old stale food .When I asked for drink , they try to upSALE by asking you to go for larger pint size drink. And when we ordered for 1 glass the waiter asked do you want 2 , I am dead serious they are too money hungry .When I told the waiter the food was not good he did not apologise and said everyone likes the food here .We felt the BILL was very highly priced and didn’t make sense to us, we just wanted to pay and get out.As we went outside my colleague was very sick and was vomiting , we had to wait Until he was fit enough to drive . We will be contacting the council as it is unfair to be fed old food .I will never ever visit this place ,

Sensational Indian cuisine. Staff team very friendly and helpful. It’s a very busy and popular restaurant/takeaway so don’t expect to just turn up or phone and expect your food straight away. My daughter reckons it’s the best korma in the world!

Excellent curry! Have struggled to find a decent curry restaurant in Hemel and this has certainly become my most favourite! The Lamb Bhuna was spiced right just enough kick and flavoursome! The saag aloo was fabulous ! The Chicken Tikka masala just right and again so flavoursome! I shall be returning!
