Queens Head in Wycombe

Had lunch there today with the family. Service was wonderful! Loved my swordfish with charred sweetcorn salad and potato salad. My husbands smoked haddock was also incredible. Shared some Mac and cheese with the little one too (who ate some of my food too). Not a fault on anything.

Really nice pub great friendly atmosphere with excellent bar staff and superb food situated in a great little village.

Frankly the best local pub one could wish for, amazing friendly staff all full of beans and always smiling, couldn’t do more to make your stay more welcome. Beautiful garden space with plenty of space for your pooch to bimble about.. lovely range of drinks to satisfy anyone buds.. the locals are equally just as friendly, a wonderful welcoming bunch of peeps…. Really nice, good looking pub. However, if you're looking to go for dinner and don't eat meat, you'll be in for a surprise (even in 2022). Out of 8 'big plates' options, only one is vegetarian. Pretty poor compared to other local options. However, the bread, halloumi and chips were good!

The staff were very friendly, the garden is unexpected and lovely. I ordered 'small plates' for lunch and they were more like small starters and not value for money compared to the main meals. But a lovely spot for a drink.

The pub is very pleasant and has a cosy main bar with character. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. The beer was good on on the day of my visit, lunch of locally sourced sausages mash and parsnip crisps, was delightful.The pub is going through a revamp and is a nice location for a meal or a drink inside or out.

Nice place, food good, apart from the starter I had, the rustic bread was very soft and not that great. Staff friendly. We had a lovely lunch.

Our first visit to a pub since lockdown eased for a proper meal and I wasn't disappointed.The service was excellent, as was the food and the staff very friendly. The bubble and squeak starter with perfect poached egg on top, beautiful and the beer battered cod, yummy.Garden is lovely and so is the interior. You could say that I had forgotten what it was like to go out and that's why I gave it 5 stars, NO I GAVE IT 5 STARS BECAUSE I COULDN'T FAULT ANY DETAIL. Excellent, see you again

It has become my go to even if its just for a drink.... today I had a starter which was the bubble and squeak...omg 🤤🤤🤤🤤 waiter pimped it out with some grilled chicken I mean yum...Service can be a bit slow but probably cos of restrictions but it's worth the yummy goodness.Staff as always fantastic

Always warm welcoming pub whose menu has been a god but could be a bit or miss over the years but seems to have found its feet again.Nice beer garden in the summer. Dog friendly and lovely staff.
