Spindle and Thread in Wycombe

The meat was so fresh and cooked to perfection, it couldn't stop bleeding. When you ask for a Medium Rare. 🌝 And now I know why the cow crossed the road.

My Partner arrived and they had no record of my booking, but when he showed them the printscreen of the booking I had sent him they swiftly went about setting up a table for us.The food was good, roast potato's could have been softer, (maybe cut them in half to roast?) Other than that it was yummy yummy and the gravy was gluten free, nice little touch no need to be that awkward guest.Everyone at the table wanted to go back there again so that is definitely a good thing. Maybe next time it will be 5 stars 😁

Such a lovely roast dinner, good quality food and even better service. Autumn was on hand to provide us with help with the vegetarian roast and advise us with other questions. Nikola guided us through the carvery and my veggie options as advised were lovely, would definitely recommend this pub for a fantastic meal on a Sunday.

My Girlfriend & I Spotted this Carvery the other day & agreed we would visit the place. We Ordered the 3 Small Sharing Plates & a Drink each which were very nice but, when it came to the "Carvery Meal", I would only Deem this to be only suitable for a Dogs Dinner. I know it was gone 7.00pm where the Food was just left there all day but, it was pretty much Awful. We did however, get Offered a Free "Rocky Road Sundae" which was nice. The Drinks were a Tad Pricey. £4.20 for a Pint of "Bombardier" Ale & & £3.10 for a Pepsi Max which was not even a Pint. Very Disappointing!! Definitely won't be a 2nd Visit there.

Came here for lunch after football. We almost had the carvery which was amazing. Good sized portions, very moist, tasty meat and the best mash I've ever had! Excellent service too. Far better than that well-known carvery restaurant chain.

Had never been before despite driving past it many times. Decided to go for a late Sunday breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and also food was good.

First time at the Spindle and Thread and really enjoyed this visit with family.Busy but did not feel crowded so all good there. Good pub food with the carvery being the star! 😋. Nice staff and prompt service. What's not to like. 👍😊

We had a lovely evening at the harry potter quiz.Food was great and the team where lovely. We was lucky enough to be served by Yazz and Erin, and Alex bought out food out. All were very friendly and great with the children.Amazing roast potatoes!

Birthday meal for six adults and three kids. Absolute value for money. Starters and mains and two bottles of wine for under £130. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Good portion sizes.

Incredible food and staff. Lovely decor and especially grateful they allowed me to have my cat with me. Other patrons even asked me to take her out her carry case and have a wee hold of her. Lovely environment over all. The steak was soo tender and perfectly cooked. They were happy to give me a lovely salad instead of chips too. Many thanks!!
