Stokenchurch Fish and Chips in Wycombe

Food was not fresh when I visited today.I went there for a bit of hot lunch today as it's freezing, and I really wanted something hot and fresh. I asked for a quarter pounder with cheese. The guy got out a patty, and stuck it in the microwave! 😳 Right there in the shop in front of me! I was so insulted, if I wanted a microwave burger I'd have got a rustler burger myself.I just walked out and told them forget it.

Stopped by when passing through. Slow service but due to good being cooked fresh which is never a bad thing.

Lovely fish and chips In a beautiful village. The owner was absolutely lovely, very chatty and engaging. So glad I stopped here for fish and chips, beautiful 👍

Nice people , friendlyChips are good , cod roe , very small portion.Had large cod and chips four times now it cost 6 pounds something , large Cod is really a small piece of Cod, not good value for money. When I ask the lady serving me about the size of the Cod , she said , it would cost fourteen pounds is London.I said, no that is not right , I am from London it is the same price as they were charging. I have just opened a business there in Stokenchurch. There are very few shops, so compotion is very low.Looks like I will travel back to London at lunch times.Ha !!!

Having recently moved to Stokenchurch we've wanted to try the fish and chips for a while. The food was great: chips, sausage, fish cake etc. We did have to wait about 15 mins outside as there was quite a queue. We'd originally tried to preorder but the phone line wasn't answered. Very good value for money though. 👍

Surprisingly quiet fish and chip shop. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite. I only had a portion of chips but they were perfect. Good quality potatoes make delicious chips. Highly recommended.

I had chicken and mushroom pie and chips curry sauce I enjoyed every bit of it, with a Diet Coke to finish off the meal. A good meal to finish the day, the service in the chip shop was fantastic, I will be going back for more

This is not the first time Ive used this chippy but thought I would give them a second chance and now wished I hadn’t. I Purchased a big order today at this place and well I guess I forgotten how bad this chip shop is. Honestly I knew the chips are not great from here but don’t remember the being this bad . Got to be the worst chip shop I have ever been to , if there was a mediocre chip shop nearby this place would not exist. If they had competition they would have to up their game but unfortunately they haven’t got any . Don’t waste your money be better off going hungry absolutely rubbish .
