The BoatHouse Cafe in Wycombe

This cafe has been the heart of the high street during lock down,and now it's back to general opening times._______________________________________________I have known this cafe for many years and pop in from time to time, to relax and either have their very tasty breakfast or just a snack, like ham and cheese sandwich.Cafes like the boathouse are very much part of the community. We need non commercial friendly family owned businesses to flower in our little village.Staff and owner are friendly and welcoming, sometimes it's busy, which is good, so we as customers need to be patient.They have a very good menu on offer, also they have provided catering to local community events that l have been involved in and their food has been well received. As l often point out we need places to take time out and chill out, this is one of them, especially if you have small children. It has a lovely atmosphere and fab unique decor.

A great value cafe/restaurant, and the food is always great. Super fast service too!

Very enjoyable, easy to find at the atmosphere was brilliant. Very close to the stage for a great view and drinks reasonably priced. Would recommend

This is my favourite café in Barnes. The food is delicious - I’m not even vegetarian, but their veggie sausages are that good that I often go for the veggie breakfast. Good variety on the menu.The people are great - friendly and efficient.They’ve done a great job with the outdoor space at the back.

Nice place to sit outside in the summer. Had mixed experience s. Would definitely return. Overall food is good

Great salted caramel brownie, pretty good pecan pie.

Popped in for some drinks before a chiropractic appointment.The waitress who has dark brown hair was really lovely and polite. She is friendly and happy to help which made it a great experience.Try the back garden as irs great to relax out there.Thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate milkshake and the frsh juice but i would like some more in the cup and ice as opposed to foam from the blender. Still really tasty though.

We have enjoyed Sunday breakfast here. Prices are very competitive compared to some other cafes in Barnes. Staff seemed to be knowledgeable and polite so we didn’t experience any problems. It wasn’t very busy on Sunday morning which is nice. We are planning to be back to try something different from the menu.Update:Visited this place a year later and left really disappointed. My eggs royal came with ham instead of salmon and were replaced after I complained. £4 for fresh orange juice with fly in it a bit expensive. The juice was replaced as well. My partner was eating pancakes and found hair in it. We saw the kitchen on the way to the seating outside and it did not look tidy/clean. This place has great potential but they clearly need more staff (one lady serving customers, making coffee and looking after the front bit of café and only one chef on busy Sunday morning) and higher hygiene standards.

Staff are friendly, food arrived quickly which was great as we didn't have much time. Coffee was excellent and the carrot cake muffin was delicious. The cafe has a very relaxing atmosphere and I love the nautical old-school decor. My partner especially loved the music choice.

Food was brilliant, service very sluggish bordering on lazy.
