Staff were brilliant, professional and polite. The food/Service was good . Clean through out and a lovely atmosphere.

Have eaten twice at lunchtime with other walking colleagues. The sandwiches, fish and chips, home made burgers and Caesar salad have all been excellent. The triple chips are excellent. Very good coffee as well. Thank you especially the young lady at the bar. She was excellent.

Excellent pub. Really friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious for an evening meal catching up with family. Really good experience.

Great, friendly pub that serves superb food! At lunchtime we tried their Welsh Rarebit and Steak sandwich, both of which were excellent. We returned for dinner and had the Goan fish curry which was fantastic. Great use of spices and seasoning - your chef has talent!All the staff were very welcoming and friendly, we’ll certainly be back.

My family went to the crown for the vegetarian Sunday lunch. Unfortunately the portion size was very disappointing. Three small strips of butternut squash on a plate with trimmings certainly not worth £15.00! We mentioned it to our server who apologised but did nothing about it. We ended up leaving hungry. I hope the owners will take notice of the feedback. Although the service was generally good we didn't get value for money so most likely will not return.

Having had our big birthday celebrations postponed last year due to covid, we rescheduled to this year and had a brilliant time on Saturday! Steve, Jack and all the team went out of their way to make sure all our guests had the best time. Service was 1st class as was the food. Thank you all for making our celebrations so special! Highly recommend this awesome place!

Stayed at the campsite next door and used this pub a couple of times as the weather was a bit iffy, ordered food and drink on both occasions, the staff were amazing, one night there were 15 of us, the food came out at the same for our whole party, excellent service, we decided to stay for a few more drinks. The staff looked after us brilliantly. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. Thanks for a great visit.

We noticed the staff at this pub have really made an effort to protect customers and their staff installing strict social distancing and spaced out the tables.in the lovely garden.There is a beer tent with a food menu serving pizzas and burgers, lots of beers and bubbly.Highly recommend by my family hence I am posting this review.They take cash or card and are adapting their pub to survive and would welcome your custom.

Lovely pub, menu is small because of the pandemic, but great. Garden benches spaced for social distancing and they have gone far beyond what other pubs have done. Staff are so friendly
