The Fox Country Inn in Wycombe

We went to the Fox for lunch. There was a nice feel to the place, traditional décor, low wooden beams etc. We chose to sit indoors, but could have sat outside. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not overly. There were four of us and all commented on how excellent and generous the food was. Not a huge selection of beers or wines but what there was, was well chosen. All in all a very nice and memorable afternoon. Will definitely be back for another visit.

Really hard to decide on the rating so went middle of the road.The staff were fabulous, decor and fit out very goodFor me I thought the £9 for a very small (although lovely) Cornish pasty at £9 was excessively priced as it wasn't served with any side salad / crisps / chips just some dressing.It was in the small plates / starter section so perhaps it was my expectation being different to dining experience the venue is offering (and I'd driven 3 hours to get there and was hungry!)It was a good stop off on a long journey.

Family Sunday lunch with one 5 year old, a 3 year old and newborn plus parents and me Granny. Friendly warm welcome from owners. Helpful staff - and DELICIOUS food. Bit limited choice for the kiddies but we all had a fabulous time.

A beautifully decorated pub with lots of space inside and out. The Sunday roast was fantastic and the deserts dreamy. Staff were warm and friendly and dogs are welcome.

Can't comment on food, but it is a decent watering hole in the middle of an excellent walking aria. The selection of beers and cyders was limited, bit what was available turned out to be very well chosen and kept.The parking was appreciated, and the request, (in advance) to allow us to park while walking was given, all very user friendly.

Great dinner for 8 of us last Friday. Steaks all perfectly cooked and lamb excellent. Finished off with lovely deserts and cheese board. Good Sancerre and the Argentinian Malbec both very good accompaniments.

Nice overnight stay. I stayed here to overnight before another load of meetings down south the next day. Found this place to over night in.Professional and quick check in - at 10pm at night after a long day and drive it’s what you need.My room was very pleasant and comfortable without the mass market feel of a premier inn. Good bed, modern shower. Thick pile carpet. Just nice to stop shower and relax in.I can’t vouch for the food as I arrived too late to try it but I browsed the menu and it looks nice. I’ll update if I pass though again and eat next time, on the basis of accommodation for the price, and quality I’d say 5 stars.

Not a great place to watch the Rugby but a warm welcome, open fire, the best truffle and parmesan french fries anywhere. Sadly a tad stingy on the size of the puddings

Had a lovely stay, the staff and owners went out of their way to make my experience very enjoyable. The room was very pleasant and quiet and bed comfortable. I also had an evening meal which I can't fault and despite the staff coping with a large birthday party my service was faultless and prompt, highly recommended
