The Frog at Skirmett in Wycombe

Ate a excellent lunch at the pub. The Frog Inn offers an extensive menu of traditional and exotic dishes that are pleasing to the eye and tasty. I ate fish and chips which was excellent. Service was friendly and good. The pub has a nice cosy atmosphere and is located in an attractive village in the rolling countryside of The Chilterns.

The restaurant was clean and a great dinning atmosphere , the food was freshly cooked , delicious and very well presented , along with excellent service and very drinkable wine .What a lovely experience , I would Highly Recommend this restaurant with prompt attentive service and good food.Well done Jim, Noelle and your staff - thank you.

Lovely busy little pub, evening meal was excellent, breakfast was plentiful and freshly made.I gave the room 4, ensuite is tired and I understand that business has been challenging but even a fresh shower curtain would make a difference :)

Lovely pub with a good selection of traditional pub food. The atmosphere was authentic and the staff very friendly. I would recommend a visit.

Loved it. Location, Staff and food all brilliant. Dog friendly on the bar side for food. Forget Marlow(where we live) this is our new favourite.

Fantastic meal and service. We enjoyed the burger, fish and chips, and the seafood linguine, and nothing disappointed.Great to be able to bring the dog in as well.

We stopped here for lunch whilst doing a 10 mile walk. They have a baguette menu for lunch or you could have something from the main menu. I had the sausage and fried onion baguette. Too many chipolatas for me and a tad too salty. My husband enjoyed his tuna and mayo. Pub could have been a bit warmer inside.

Will try to be fair here, because I really liked the food. But reading the bad reviews I do must say that it isn't "smiliest" service. Okay, it isn't bad service, lady serving us was very nice and helpful, but the gent at the bar was a bit, out of order. My partner asked him a question in regards to certain something and he just snapped back in a rude manner. My partner politely explained why he was asking, as now we couldn't leave having had ordered our food (he should not have, it was a private matter) then the gent changed the tune and offered to solve the issue otherwise. Sweet, thank you for that. But next time before you snap at a paying customer for them asking an absolutely normal question, perhaps think that it isn't your place to do that. Food was amazing though, kudos to chef.

Really good! We got lucky with the weather and were able to sit outside for Sunday lunch. The food was very good indeed ; two roasts , a burger and halibut. The gluten free brownie my daughter had for pudding was even better . Thanks for a very enjoyable afternoon meal!

The pub has a lovely warm, welcoming atmosphere. Set in the countryside surrounded by scenic views this little gem is a must visit. The menu is full of exciting meals to try along with a few pub classics (fish and chips, burger). I would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back to try more.
