Lovely,Friendly atmosphere nice pint .Went for Sunday lunch ,Proper food, Real roasties, none of the fake deep fried one's. The veg was cooked to perfection, My wife had the Beef and I had the Chicken, plenty of both, can not find fault .DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Brilliant, this is an excellent pub with very helpful staff. We went there as a group of 8, popped the money behind the bar and sat back and relaxed. We gave a nod when we were ready for the next round and it was ready to collect each time without fail. Some of us ordered food, it arrived lovely and hot and delicious. This is one of those rare pubs where they take care of you and the banter is good. Highly recommended.

More than a 'local' pub. Great family run pub with awesome food and great staff. Could not reccomend it more for a pint after a walk in the Chilterns or a family gathering for a Sunday roast. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

This is a gem of a pub! The food is plentiful and they serve a delicious Sunday lunch with a generous portion of meat and vegetables for a very reasonable price. There's also an extensive range of Fullers ales on draught. Full marks from me. 👍

Friendly family run pub. Cosy and efficient service. Nice happy staff. Nice place to go to for a casual drink after work

Really unique old fashioned pub, friendly, great range of traditional ales(Fullers), good food and fascinating decoration. Nice sized garden with marquee and comfortable indoor seating. Car park to rear and on street parking.

Absolutely love this little pub, it’s just down the road from my workplace so we come here often for lunches and drinks after work. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and there’s a good atmosphere. The garden is lovely in the summer and definitely worth a visit. Drinks are reasonably priced and their food is great value for money and always really tasty. They currently have salt and pepper chicken in bbq sauce on their specials which I would definitely recommend. Overall a lovely little local pub which I love to visit regularly and would recommend to anyone in the area!

We moved nearby a year ago and have spent as long looking for a really decent pub to call our own. I think we've found it. In the very, very best possible way a 'proper' pub and I imagine we'll return regularly. We went in for a Sunday roast and found plenty of parking, a welcoming atmosphere (all the staff were very friendly and helpful), a really first rate Sunday roast (nothing soggy or microwavey here), and most importantly, lashings of excellent gravy. Having to ask for extra gravy in the 21st century would be an appaling situation, I'm most glad the kitchen here recognises the importance of such matters. This delicious platef cost me the measly sum of £9. A great range of proper beer on tap rounds things off. No complaints at all.
