Absolutely brilliant. It's rare I leave reviews but this was worth it. Beautiful building, gorgeous food, great portion sizes, outstanding service. Would definitely recommend

Friendly staff, spacious pub

Great place and the food was ok but could be so much better....

Very welcoming and accommodating, we had the Sunday lunch carvery which was very tasty, lacking only in the amount of crackling served with the pork. Beer was of a good selection and tasted good.

What a cosy place to eat. Very good staff, covid aware and still attentive. Good menu, fairly priced. I'll be back.

I visited with three friends last week and we were all impressed with the authentic feel of an old building with modern fittings, the welcoming staff and the choice of menu.I had the toad in the hole which was a huge portion ,well cooked and with a very tasty gravy. My friends opted for a simpler meal with a baked potato and filling and we're also very satisfied.I should be happy to recommend anybody to try this quality establishment out .

It was a nice experience but the menu is not as typical pub menu. I ordered a pork belly and was quite similar to a finger fish. Good tasty but not properly what I had imagined. Excellent service

We only had a couple of drinks sat outside , the staff were smiley, friendly and helpful. Good service and always a member of staff checking to see if you wanted anything. Our dogs were given a water bowl and offered treats which was nice. The menu looked good and the food looked nice when brought out to other tables. Would definitely come again to try the food.

I enjoyed a good roast at this pub on Sunday. The menu seems to work differently to other pubs in that different days seem to have different menus. I also found it a bit odd that they close the kitchen at 18:30 so if you want dinner then you have to go earlier than that. Other than that the roast was good and the outdoor area was great to sit in.
