Hickorys Smokehouse Grill in Ards

First and last visit to this establishment. The food was mediocre and didn't taste fresh. The desserts were dried out and too solid like they had been sitting around for a couple of days. Very disappointing.The waiter was efficient and attentive but as the restaurant wasn't busy he wasn't exactly overstretched. There are much better places to eat.

Great atmosphere and service. Menu is about to be update and it's not a moment too soon. Kitchen not just as caring as before about quality of their food. Hoping new menu sees big improvements.

Food was superb, I ordered the T bone steak and it was cooked perfectly. Great portions, very tasty and the staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend.

Food was quite frankly terrible. I didn't think it was possible to do spare ribs this badly - chewy and just tasted rancid. Having to pay extra just to get some mayo on the side too, ridiculous. Only reason for giving 2 stars is the waitress who was very friendly.

This was the 2nd visit here and the food is amazing and huge portions and the cocktails are lovely as well on this visit though we felt a tiny bit rushed to finish our drinks as we were the last customers still here at 8.30

Another great meal at Hickory's! This time from their lunch menu, getting 2 courses for only £10.95. They didn't skimp on portion sizes either. Quick and friendly service. Will definitely be back again!

On arrival the host was fantastic, very welcoming. Seating was very prompt and the setting was great. Waitress was very polite and provided a great service. Food didn't take long, it looked fantastic and tasted great.This restaurant was recommended by a friend, it was obviously my first visit to this restaurant and I'm happy to say I will return.
