Pier 36 in Ards

First visit, wasn't disappointed. Food was excellent, we opted for scampi & chicken stack. Impressed by the staff, very attentive & friendly. We'll definitely be back, can't wait to try the seafood chowder 👍

Nice open fire. Dogs allowed in front bar. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Food is usually great. But I have had the odd failure here. But success rate of 90%! Sunday roast is yum but has reduced in quantity over the past 12 months!

Last night, my husband and I attended the restuarants first wine tasting event since 2020. The bar and restaurant service was excellent throughout the evening. The food from the 3 course set menu was impeccable and the wine from Neill Wine, Groomsport was delicious. It was well organised and informative and we'll definitely be attending others. Well done to all and thank you.

Went for lunch today, Sunday 2nd January. We ordered the seafood platter. We were so disappointed. Some prawns on toast, overcooked possibly frozen calamari and deep fried whole tiny fish, heads, tails etc. We love this place but it was was so so dissapointing. When we told our server about the issues his response was "ok" that was it.

We got the delivery service in the run up to Christmas. It could not have been better. The phone in order was very easy. Delivery on time and very pleasant. Food was awesome. We had our first turkey dinners of the year and our vegan had the best nut roast she has ever had. So good she has booked one to cook on Christmas Day.Well done to all and Merry Christmas.Highly recommended.

Amazing as always. Staying for Christmas whilst visiting family from England. Staff brilliant nothing to want for, above and beyond. Food excellent and exceptional breakfast. Setting always a pleasure to wake u to the sea view. Back in the summer again.

Could not fault this place at all. Lovely staff, and the food was outstanding. We visited Pier 36 as we were staying in Bangor for my girlfriend's birthday.The girlfriend ordered a fillet steak, medium. It came exactly as ordered. My chicken was succulent and the pepper sauce was beautiful, and the champ was really flavoursome.We're already planning my birthday meal in the restaurant for March.

Stayed overnight in one of the two superior rooms at £125 ,which i thought was a bit overpriced . The room itself was nice and clean with a great view over the harbour. We eat in the restaurant which was excellent and the staff were really nice and friendly. Would recommend a visit ,overall a really good place to visit .

Had a lovely overnight stay, we have eaten here before but never stayed. The room was beautiful, extremely roomy and very clean with a lovely sea. We had the steak and stay deal. Food was delicious, and staff were attentive and friendly as always. The breakfast menu was amazing soo much choice, it's so nice to get a hot fresh breakfast instead of the usual buffet breakfast most hotels offer. Definitely recommend

We arrived a bit early so our table wasn't ready, they took us to the beer garden out the back and we ordered some drinks. We had our dog with us.Very friendly welcome when we arrived and a great atmosphere in the pub.They came and got us when our table was ready and carried our drinks in. A real dog friendly pub, they loved our pup and all the other dogs in there got lots of love.We ordered our food and it came quite promptly. The food was amazing, I had the nut roast from the vegetarian menu, the portion was huge as was everyone else's. The vegetables that it came with were lovely and it was piping hot which was great.The staff were all very attentive and friendly.I would certainly recommend and would definitely come back.
