It's the first time I have been here for years. I found the decor dark and uninviting. The tables could do with a proper clean if I'm honest. The food was mediocre. 2 meals for £10. The photos will explain the quality of the food. I will not be eating here again.

I’m not usually one to complain but tonight is the second time we have booked a table for DINNER and turned up to be told the kitchens closed. This time I literally placed and paid for my order to then be told the kitchen is closed. I don’t understand why an establishment would take bookings for food after the time the kitchen is closed. I’ve visited many sizzling pubs and this one a couple of times none of which close the kitchen at 7.30. It’s really frustrating and I won’t be returning.

A couple of us had been standing at the bar waiting for services for 5 mins and although the waitress had acknowledged we were there, when someone else appeared from outside, she served them first... also the food leaves a lot to be desired. I order the gammon as I like the saltiness, but this was something else! I'd say the gammon steak was 9 parts salt and 1 part gammon. It was entirely inedible!

Booked for Mother’s Day.. not the best to be honest, starters and main meals were good, although the steaks were a bit chewy and far too many onions. Burgers were amazing, £1.70 extra for the salad was a bit steep for the size of the portion. Desserts.. where do I start. No cheesecake, no eton mess and no brownies (half the dessert menu!) so ordered the oreo sundae instead, arrives.. no chocolate fudge cake or flake in it after it reading this in the description, I asked the waiter if there were no flakes left, she said she would check, also asked about the fudge cake which she stated was at the bottom.. came back with a pack of buttons because there’s no flakes left, after digging deep with the spoon there was no cake in it. Lied to my face about it, returned it to the bar looking like a non Eton mess, asked for the bill, when paying the girl apologised to me then to follow up asking what they didn’t have that we pre-ordered, which the desserts weren’t, so therefore they done nothing wrong.. shocking customer service and won’t be returning.

Place is nice and easily locatable. All tables are empty but waiter is not allowed to choose our own table. They told it is completely booked. But we been their for 60 mins none arrived. Apart from that,Food is completely great. Their chicken is so fresh and good. But service is too slow. They got a pool to play. Nice to spend time with friends. Overall good place to visit.

We booked here for 7.20pm for 4, after ordering our food and drinks at about 7.30pm we then waited 15 mins for our drink to arrive and to make matters worse the bottle of prosecco we ordered was not chilled, we then ask for an ice bucket to chill the bottle but were given a cocktail jug full of ice 🤷‍♂️ which was no use at all, we then waited 35 mins for 1 starter of nachos and then a further 40 mins for our main meals, even then it was wrong, I had ordered a medium rare steak and my partner medium to well, after receiving our meals we both realised they had been cooked to order but were on the wrong plates, I ordered a mixed grill and my partner a surf and turf which were served to us on very small plates with everything pilled up on top of each other which wasn't ideal when we were trying to swap steaks, I know it a minor point but I think if you order those kind of meals they should served up on big oval plate to make it a bit easier to eat, our friends also received there meal about 5 mins before ours which meant by the time we received ours they had ploughed through half of theirs, don't get me wrong the food was good so hats of to the chef's but the overall experience was bad, the service was terrible and not at all attentive, in fact we were not asked once how our food was or if we needed any condiments, the cutlery was brought to us but that was it, and only after we asked how much longer we would have to wait for our food did the manager come over and apologise for the wait, the only saving grace was the food in my opinion, my steak and egg was cooked to perfection, the gammon, and chicken were good and our nachos starter was nice, it's just a shame the service was terrible and let the night down.

After gettin an under cooked steak pie this was the replacement over cooked lasagne 🤢 staff couldn't have been any friendlier if i was them i would have sent the chef out to deal with co plaints. Out of 6 tables only 1 never had a complaint

First time at our new 'local' wasn't disappointed. Good choice of food on menu. Nice atmosphere and staff friendly. Ribs were really good, tender fell of the bone, sweet potato fries were so good we wished we got two bowls! If you go on their website they have all allergy and dietary information of all meals and sides. More places need to do this!
