Eight South in Castlereagh

Lovely surroundings and pleasantly comfortable. Staff are attentive but not too much as to spoil any conversation taking place. Drinks order on arrival along with a menu. Clean and well organised. Starters and main course we're absolutely lovely. Good choice on menu. Prompt warm food. We will be back.

Good food. Fast service. Though the restaurant ambience was a bit lacking. It felt more like a cafe at a road stop. On the night we went ( 18/03/2022) 1 staff member was friendly and attentive (short girl with blonde hair) .However, the rest of the staff would be better suited working in a morgue, particularly the elderly waiter with the beard. It felt like we were annoying him by choosing to come spend out evening in the restaurant. Could def do better as overall its a great place .

Took G/daughter and wife for lunch. I had chicken carbonara which was very good. Both my wife and G/daughter enjoyed their food as well. I have been here a number of times, always good.

First time at Eight South.. Very enjoyable. Lovely atmosphere. Food was good. I had chicken goujons and chips. Good portion sizes. Apple and cinnamon crumble was lovely though I couldn't finish it all. Service was excellent. All the waiters were friendly and we're joking with us. We had a great time. Will definitely be back

Great welcome and service when we were there for a recent birthday party. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Food fantastic.

Lovely dining experience. Chicken wings for starter they were sooo good. Sizzling beef with mash. Omg it was amazing. Staff are great and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back 🙂

Says pub grub but omg its far beyond that. Starters goats cheese on beetroot relish was divine. Partner got bread platter for starters was delicious. Mains where fillet steak cooked too perfection and I got chicken curry was lovely. Highly recommended.

First time here. Absolutely best steak I've had in a while. Service was superb. Social distancing was super safe. Staff were friendly prompt and attentive. Dessert was decadent. I will definitely be back. Would book in future as only downside due to lockdown had to sit on stools at high table a more comfortable table is probably have another course and stay longer. 👍😁
