The Pharoah in Castlereagh

I've had to update my original review which was complimentary on how good the burgers were. I don't know what has happened here but the last burger i bought was the worst i have ever had, completely different, meat was hard and chewy, unedible really. I haven't been back because the food is too expensive now to take a chance.

In my opinion its got the best kebab sauce I've ever had. Also the onion rings are amazing. Service is always great, I normally phone ahead but I know Just Eat is an option too. Portion sizes are perfect, if you're eating more than a large from the Pharaoh I think you need to go have a good look at yourself! If you are local I wouldn't bother going anywhere else for a kebab!

Couldn't belive that's the portion I was given. Salad separate. Look closely and you'll find the meat and salad. At least the sauce is a full portion. Turkish kebab shop 2 minutes drive away from now on

Usually great be the “large” kebab remains not large while the price is now £9.50.Unfortunately I got one tonight which was nearly bone dry. You can see in the photos that this meat and sauce had so little sauce that the foil and lid were dry. Usually good but inconsistent enough that £9.50 can be a rip off for the meat and sauce you actually can get.3 to 4 stars if they give you a proper amount of sauce

Can be great and handy for a quick bite. Lately kebabs seem to have no sauce, last few times. Chips are end bits. Perhaps a bit of cost cutting going on but a surely a false economy. Slightly disappointed but I'm sure it can come back to the glory days or times gone by.

Very nice staff always my food a1 an place always very clean you not tryed id make a point too gave it a visit you will return

Below average kebab if I'm honest. Bread did not taste fresh at all and whole thing lacked authenticity, didn't really feel like meat had been cooked in a way I couldn't replicate at home. Not the feast I was anticipating

08/06/21 Stopped here for a couple of kebabs on bread, hadn't had a kebab from here in a long time as I am rarely in the area, however, when I lived close by to Pharaoh many years ago it had a great justifiable reputation for a great kebab, not now, the kebabs had the toughest meat full of gristle with little sauce. Not as I remember and at £5.70 per kebab not good value.

Talk about last order of the night ! £38 and fish was burnt and burger ... just disgusting & embarrassing to be honest

A fresh-tasting steak kebab. The garlic sauce was sweet and refreshing compared to some other places. The portion size was pretty miserable for the price. I paid £7.50 for a large steak kebab and chips, but the portion size would be a normal kebab anywhere else. I came here because the reviews said how good it was, however it didn't live up to the hype for meA saving grace was the quick collection time on a Saturday night. Only 20mins and it was ready for pickup.
