Called in Sunday evening, not overly busy, wanted to sit in so we took our table, after 10 minutes nobody came to took our order so we assumed we went to the till, we knew what we wanted, so went to the till and got told we had to go to the other till, so the woman behind the till was doing coffees, the traybakes and something else and the family in front was unable to decide what they wanted, so we just left after another 15 minutes waiting. Poor service, in need of more organisation,,use the ice cream facilities across the road, quicker and more selection.

Nice view out to the mountains but save yourself some time and go somewhere else. A simple order cannot be executed. Order was wrong and everything came out a different times. My husband was finished his waffles by the time my lemon meringue arrived (cooked Vs not cooked). The staff manning the different stations clearly don't communicate with one another when they are putting an order together. It was the same two weekends in a row. Will be giving a miss from now on.

Coffee is delightful, Gluten Free Lemon Meringue tartlet is expensive but it's very tasty I enjoy it. Ice cream very nice also the staff are good. 5 🌟

Tasty food and lovely staff but inconsistent portion sizes, we were not given some of our order until we had to ask for it at the till, some orders in our group were taken incorrectly. Disappointing experience but will consider coming back in the future as have had great experiences here before.

I was here in early January 2022. Impeccable covid security/safety measures in place, with only two parties allowed to queue inside, good table spacing, a one-way flow and table service only rather than queuing at the counter. Menus and tables disinfected after use. All staff wearing face coverings. I wish all cafes were as conscientious about their staff's and customers' safety. The food was very good too (we had the brie and cranberry paninis). Extensive savoury and dessert menu, plus Mauds famous ice cream. Nice views out over the bay and towards the Mourne mountains. I would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a bite to eat on the Monday of Halloween half term holiday week. Was quite busy with all tables filled.Had difficulty ordering as we seemed to be sent from the front of the queue at one till to a space between dividers that was difficult to talk through. Then took 45 minutes for our food to come, after several enquiries. Not sure what the hold up was exactly but we're totally fed up by the time it arrived. Had to go and move the car while we waited as in an hour parking section and was shocked to find that the food hadn't been brought to our table and the rest of the group by the time I got back! The food was good... When it came. But the stress of the wait destroyed our meal.I don't think I'll return.

Staff were friendly, but couldn't cope with the work. Firstly when we were seated we were given no menu, so after a few minutes I went up and asked for one. Then once we had decided I went to order only to be told the menu was no longer in use and was given another menu. Not great. Went to Docs at the top of the town and had a great meal with friendly experienced staff

From the moment we entered we knew had made the right choice. Our group had soup, fish cakes, spice box and pancakes what wonderful tastes. All was presented beautifully. The service was very friendly and first class. Sadly we were so full we were unable to have some of the wonderful cakes. This is a number 1 place. We will be back hopefully soon. Thank you all.
