Chips Ahoy in Down

Chips are lovely and my partner loves the gravy also. Highly recommended.

Ordered a fish and chip and the lady behind the counter said our fish are fresh battered and it will take at least 25-30 minutes before the fish would be cooked .. I said that would be no problem .. she said if you like you can wait in your car a d I'll bring it out to you .. she was as good as her word and brought it out .. the fish was delicious as were the chips .. after I ate them I went back into the shop and told the lady that the food was delicious and said a genuine thank you to her

I have always had good food from Chips Ahoy and it is reasonably prices. Very good portions and friendly staff. Would recommend trying Chips Ahoy as it is one of our favourites.

They were out of fish, out of curry sauce, got their last portion of gravy which I would have been better without as it was terrible. The sausages were so bad I couldn't eat them and they went in the bin and the chips weren't even warm enough to melt the cheese so needless to say I will never be back nor would I recommend to anyone !

Went there once, and will never return. Who I assume to be the manager seems to be a horrible person. After attempting to leave a tip, I watched as she glared at the member of staff I was leaving the tip for, on top of that she then proceeded to shout at other members of staff, clearly enjoying tormenting and bullying them. When my food arrived, the chips were essentially mush, the burger was incredibly mediocre. DONT GO HERE!!!

Ordered by phone and collected. Nicely dry and free from excess oil /grease... Excellent generous tasty portions. We were very pleased.
