Country fried Chicken in Down

Very fast service. Friendly staff.

My favourite place to visit just for the gravy alone, Chips were stale (reheated) but usually on point.

An institution. Chicken burgers don't look amazing but do taste amazing.

Country fried chicken 🍗 has been on the go for approximately 33 odd years. Its staff are friendly and their food is a favourite in my household for as long as I remember. Chicken is cooked to perfection and never disappoints their curry chips are the nice side of hot but if your not feeling adventurous stick with their gravy chip and chicken fillet with or without coleslaw.

Food is not as good as I remember it and although we were served efficiently the girl behind the counter seemed to be impolite and didn't smile once.

Got a chicken fillet burger with everything on it and chips with curry sauce. It was really good. The coleslaw on the burger was creamy and equally delicious. Best curry chips I have ever had. !!! Was not easy to get a copy of the menu beforehand so here you go. We'll worth the trip!!

Great place for a quick bite to eat . That doesn't mean the food is in anyway comprised. We as a family have been going here for years . The staff are great and have worked there for a long time. Only problem is it can get really busy during peak times due to the food been so good .

It's a strange one !Service good , friendly staff ,I think the owner is very greedy !Imagine chicken fillet burger don't come in meal bundles !!Coke cans £1,45 ,Chicken fillet nice burger !!But can't see me going there again as feel ripped off , the owner really let's down this chicken outfit !!If sales goes down only person to blame himself !!His pricing redicilous!!!

Very disappointing. Ordered a family meal deal 10 pieces and chips. The chicken was greasy, watery and slimy and undercooked. Not crispy at all and the special coating was falling off. Woukd not recommend this place at all or go there ever again. A waste of money.
