Great to have enjoyed a fantastic meal at really good value for money prices. We had a wonderful group meal - all done to perfection and with excellent table service . Sorry we left it so long between visits - we will be back muxh sooner next time.

We went for my mother's 81st birthday yesterday. Excellent. Mum loves seafood had the platter. It was delicious. I can't recommend it enough. We were a party of 9 and 7 had steak. All out at the same time and perfectly cook. You really need to try this restaurant. It was well worth the journey from Belfast and we will certainly be going again. The staff were extremely pleasant. I can't recommend enough

Went to this place for lunch 4 years ago and it was great, this time it was terrible. My wife went for the monkfish and i the rump steak. The monkfish was chewy and the creamed potatoes where re heats, my rump steak was fatty the salad was limp and obviously by its date and the pepper sauce you could see through it.To add to the disappointment the table was that sticky it was like a magnet. We both enjoyed my frozen chips.☹

Disappointing experience. Had fab lunch the day before - fish chowder. Dinner following night, frozen scallops that were tiny, minute mussells. Monkfish overpowered with a cheese sauce. Staff were friendly though.

Delicious fresh seafood and a great steak with friendly service, all set in very nice surroundings and enjoyable outdoor area, well worth a visit, would like to return again, Thanks Paddy, and Sinead from The Lighthouse Bar for the recommendation

Excellent food and service in a lovely old country roadhouse-style pub - go for the chips alone!! From the photo you can see they have been hand-cut. They are double fried, I suspect in dripping, because of the wonderful taste, from local fields - a chap at the bar confirmed they were from the field next to his - exceptional! We went on a Groupon - steaks or sea bass - we both had steaks and they were cooked beautifully, the onion rings were lovely too, crispy and tender. This is a beautiful country pub with a deservedly excellent reputation for food. Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly go back.
