Great jones Craft & Kitchen in Down

Really enjoyed Great Jones for dinner as a family of 4. Seen reviews and said we would give it a try. Didn't disappoint, good service, very good food and overall a nice evening meal.Kids finished all set in front of them, believe you me - that doesn't happen to often.

Salt and chili squid to start. Was expecting dry calamari but we got long pieces of squid in a spicy sweet sticky sauce. Such a shame as the squid itself seemed very fresh and nicely cooked but any taste of squid was lost completely by the rather sickly sauce. Had the burger for mains, looked great and the extras in the burger were very fresh and lovely. The burger was made from good quality meat but unfortunately very dry and hard to swallow. All in all a very expensive less than average burger and chips.

Food was lovely, service was quick and very nice. Portions are generous and great value for money

We finally got round to trying this place…Visited here last night and will definitely visit again. The staff( Caitlin) were very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is nice and modern. It was spotlessly clean. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The portions were a good size and good value for money. There is a great choice of food on the menu. We had starters, mains and deserts. The food was amazing. We all had different things and they were all delicious... I can definitely say this will be one of our family's favourite places to visit in 2022.

First time in this cafe/restaurant. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Rustic decor and pleasant friendly staff.4 stars just because I think the decor doesn't reflect the quality of the food. Will be back.

The Great Jones is a lovely vegan friendly restaurant. Good fun and atmosphere. But it's busy, so be sure to book ahead.. Staff are great and very accommodating.

Made a booking for Saturday night past, had to change the booking at short notice, this was no problemStarter to share was fantastic and plenty of it, Sirloin steak was great, super flavour, though i would suggest if you want medium rare then ask for medium.Prices reasonable, service was excellent. The menu was small I thought but that's maybe a good thing.Had a voucher from 2019 and they honoured it with no hassle.Would definitely go back.

Nicest vegan burger I’ve ever tasted. It comes with an excellent combination of salad and dressings. The chicken laksa curry was also excellent, complete with gluten free bread on request. Very professional and friendly staff, all working together as a great team. Highly recommend this place.

Great food. Landed here tonight with no reservation and the host got us a table for an hour which was perfect. He was very friendly aswell which always makes a night out even better. First meal out since December aswell and really enjoyed it. Had the baked cod and my boyfriend had the lamb. Got a dessert to share. Definitely recommend

We came to Great Jones after it was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. It was a Tuesday night and they were fairly busy which goes to show how popular they are.The staff here are warm and very friendly. The food is very good and reasonably priced. We especially loved the squid which we had as a starter and shared between the two of us; so, so good!If we find ourselves in Newcastle again, we would definitely return!
