Love it here but £94 for 2 adults and 2 kids with 1 drink each? Food was nice but found it too pricey this time.

Amazing food. Come fairly quickly. They don't do food all the time. Only certain days. The staff are really friendly and always aid you. I really enjoyed my visit.

Absolutely fantastic bar/restaurant at the heart of Castlewellan.My wife and I were staying at the forest park and decided to go into town for a meal. Quite a nice 10 minute walk. Found this cracker bar Maginns which looks fairly small from the front however it's massive inside. The decor is first class Monhogany carpentry. I really would have thought it was an old Church at one time but apparently not, it always was a bar/restaurant.This would be an ideal setting for weddings etc. Ok down to the important stuff like the food etc. All I can say is tasty , inexpensive and served with a pleasant smiling face! We will definitely visit again when we're staying at the forest park. 5 stars👍

Visited this bar and restaurant today, such a beautiful place inside, staff were very friendly, very helpful and very quick service. Starter and main course was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Only downside was that the dessert was very small portion size and very over priced for all you got, next time we visit we would forget about the dessert. It was very nice but very small £3.00 would be a more realistic price for dessert.

Got food without before drinks a bit of confusion about ordering. Could only sit out side so we were more or less forgot about. Decent food. Good size kid portions.

We had a very nice lunch here and staff were very helpful and friendly. This is the first place we would think of for lunch for an evening meal in Castlewellan.
